My husband and I recently stayed at The Florida House Inn. Like other reviews we chose to stay here because of it's historic charm and location. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome...our room on the other hand was pretty bad. There were cobwebs on the walls, ceiling fan and had an odor we couldn't quite figure out...

Let me start by saying the locale, the grounds, the food and even the people at the Florida House in are all very charming and would have been worthy of Uber high marks. However, our room (room 12) was literally SO dirty and grungy it was hard to get past. The room itself was musky, literally had cob webs hanging...

We stayed at The Florida House Inn 23 and 24 years ago, had a great room and an awesome time. Returned this past week-end, 10/29 & 10/30/2016. The only room left when we booked was The Bridal Suite, Room 17. When we arrived we noticed an odor coming from the bathroom area. That odor continued the entire week-end. The odor...

We booked the room for a get away to celebrate our anniversary. The Florida House Inn was centrally located to things we wanted to do and see, Plus there were numerous dining options nearby. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling! Over all a very nice place to stay.

Originally we reserved this place for our daughter and soon to be son-in-law and we booked a beach front property for ourselves. Since they are young, they decided they wanted our beach place and we took the bed and breakfast.. (which we prefer the bed and breakfast) We got in around 7pm and our room keys were in an envelope...

We moved down south a year ago and had heard so much about Amelia Island that we took a weekend to see what it was like. We made reservations at the Florida House. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard was very private and pretty....

My husband, daughter, and I recently stayed at Florida House Inn on a Saturday night. We found the building to be charming. Our room had a huge, very nice shower. Parking was convenient right behind the inn. The breakfast was great - biscuits with homemade jam, quiche, crispy sausage, fruit. But, the main drawback for us was the very loud...

We arrived on a Friday, parked directly in front of the inn and went in to register. Third Street is one-way, so you will have to come in from Centre Street vice Ash Street. After registration, we moved to the parking area behind the inn on 4th street. The building is lovely, historic, and charming. Registration was quick and easy....

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for a one night quick getaway. It was perfectly located in downtown Fernandina. We were able to walk to all the neat restaurants and shops. The night we stayed, there was a band playing right besides the hotel and we were able to watch it from the outside of the balcony...

I loved this B&B! Have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Very clean, very cute & quaint! Staff is very polite and helpful if you need anything. Breakfast is very good and the homemade jam is amazing! I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a romantic get away.
