My wife and I just spent a fantastic weekend at Hoyt House on Amelia Island. This was our first trip to Amelia Island and our hosts, Ricky and Tracy were wonderful. The home is beautifully decorated and Tracy made the most wonderful breakfasts. The blueberry scones were moist and delicious, and apparently the recipe will remain a family secret! Our...

Our hosts Ricky and Tracy (sp?) were incredibly welcoming. House is classic and lovely - an antiques showcase. Large wrap around porch that we often used to read (and build our tandem bike). We still dream of the breakfasts. Best Sticky Buns we've ever had. Ricky runs a fun happy hour in the classic bar. Ah - and very short...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hoyt House. Our room was comfortable and quiet for a great night's rest. The chocolates, cookies, afternoon wine and breakfast was all very delicious! They even helped get us in with reservations at a local popular restaurant. Enjoyed the hot tub too! Can't say enough good things about the Hoyt House....

We've just spent 2 nights here, and already planning when we might be able to come back from the UK. The house, our room, the breakfast and especially the hosts were more than we could have hoped for. The happy hour is a tremendous touch, as is the sticky loaf at breakfast. I can't praise it highly enough. We also...

We stayed here one night during the week after Christmas. The Inn was beautifully decorated! We had to wait about 15 minutes to be shown to our room, but otherwise the hosts were charming and very helpful. If we booked again, we would choose a different room. We stayed in Kate's Study, which is very pretty and comfortable, but has...

This gorgeous inn truly sets the bar for high quality historic B&Bs! The property is extensive, impeccably maintained and operated by warm and attentive owners, Tracy and Rick. Hoyt House excels in every category (location, architecture, accessories, furnishings, landscaping, pool/spa, gazebo, linens, comfort, food, etc.). Our stay could not have been better. Highly recommended!!

If you're coming to Amelia this where you want to stay. My now wife wanted a private wedding and we got exactly that and a more special time. Once we got here we were well received by Tracey. She showed us around and the place is extremely clean and beautiful. Later we meet her husband Ricky which I can not...

First and foremost, we can't say enough about the innkeepers, Tracey and Ricky. We found them to be delightful, friendly and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. The Inn itself was beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious, clean and luxurious. The bed and bedding were perfect and the bathroom accessories were fabulous. The house, the porch,...

We just returned from a week on Amelia Island. Our lodging preference has always been small inns and B&Bs as opposed to large hotels. Well, our stay at Hoyt House confirmed the wisdom of our preference. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners and were concerned to find out that they were new owners and not the person...
