Our first experience staying at a B&B and we were not disappointed! This 1905 home in the heart of Fernandina Beach is everything we were hoping it would be. Stately but cozy. Well maintained. The new owners, Jamie and Todd, immediately and warmly greeted us. During check-in we were asked if we had any food allergies or dietary restrictions. My husband is a diabetic and requires a low carb and sugar free diet. He was provided with a delicious and appropriate breakfast each morning. Jamie gave us a tour of the house along with a history of the property. The rooms are chock full of original details and antiques without looking like a museum. Happy hour between 4 and 5 pm was in a beautiful and separate bar room. It was such a treat to meet and connect with the other guests while enjoying complimentary wine. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, however, there was a lot of street noise. Our hosts obviously are aware of this as we found little packages of ear plugs on the nightstands. Thoughtful gesture, however we will stay in a different room on any future visits. All in all, we enjoyed our first B&B stay and can't wait to visit again.

An amazing classic home built in 1905 and delicious unique breakfasts! What else could you ask for? How about a pool, a jacuzzi, comfortable beds, updated bathroom with a huge shower? My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The home’s owners are delightful to chat with and beyond courteous and kind. The location is perfect for walking around downtown historic Fernandina Beach. Cannot wait to return!

The only negative about our stay was leaving! The hosts were fantastic, location perfect and our stay relaxing. I am always hesitant to stay at a B and B due to potential noise but this house was very quiet. Yes, it is on a main street and logging route but it did not bother us at all even though our room (6) faced the street. We heard no noise from other guests and slept like babies! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience.

We really loved staying at the Hoyt House. The location is absolutely amazing: so central to downtown with all the shops and dining. The hosts made a huge, delicious breakfast every morning and had all the fixings you could imagine for day trips to the beach. The pool and garden and porch were fantastic for spending time and relaxing. They have a live performance on Saturday evenings in the home just like In the early 1900’s. We loved it and highly recommend!

My husband and I just returned from an absolutely excellent stay at the Hoyt House. The location is perfect and the inn is beautiful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Todd & Jamie who were very friendly. We were given a brief tour & history of the inn, and had a drink, chatting with the owners and some other guests in the cozy bar area. We stayed in the Mizell Suite, which was fantastic (the bed was super comfortable!) We missed breakfast on two of the days (due to our own scheduling/leaving early) but the breakfast we did have was delicious. Quick and easy walk to everything in the downtown area. We are looking forward to returning and have already booked our next stay!
