If you have reservations regarding staying at a bed and breakfast, The. Addison will erase them. If you frequent B and B's, it will rise to the top of your list. Spotless accommodations, delicious breakfasts on the interior porch, tasteful traditional furnishings, environmentally appropriate, comfortable beds, nice linens, thoughtfully accessorized rooms. The location is excellent for walking everywhere in Fernandina.... More

We just returned from 5 nights at the Addison and we didn't want to leave. We felt very much at home and pampered. Our room (10) was cleaned every day without fail, regardless of what time we left. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The AC worked well in the heat of July. The oversized tub was... More

I recently stayed in July 2016 for two nights. The bed and breakfast is in a GREAT location and you are able to walk to anything that is downtown. The rooms were beautiful and the beds and linens were so comfortable! Bob and Shannon were so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. I recommend staying here while in Amelia Island.

The Addison provided the perfect venue for a two day get together with friends from the UK. The pleasant, relaxing ambience allowed for unlimited conversation over a delightful breakfast, welcoming happy hour and time simply enjoyed on one of their many verandas. The accommodations were beautiful and well maintained. The convenient location of the B&B facilitated easy access to several... More

My girlfriends and I spent 9 days at Addison Inn. What a treat it was! We awoke in luxurious beds each morning, and then went down for amazing breakfasts each day. These were hands down the best breakfasts I've every had! Our days were spent enjoying the hot weather reading, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches, and swimming in the... More

We visited Amelia Island and were fortunate enough to stay at the Addison. A beautiful old southern home converted to a Bed and Breakfast. Luxury rooms with high end sheets, beautiful art work and furnishings. The owners (Bob and Shannon) were gracious hosts that were well organized with outings, local restaurants and tours. The breakfasts were unbelievably delicious---how about creme... More

This was our second visit to Fernandina and the Addison did not disappoint! Clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts and hospitality were wonderful. Small touches throughout like free bottles of water and shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers provided in the showers. Did I mention the breakfasts were wonderful? The house and courtyard were so charming and a very convenient walk... More

We stayed at this luxurious B and B for ten lovely days. The breakfasts were amazing! Everything was superb! Shannon and Bob are amazing hosts and provided us with everything we needed - from beach chairs and umbrellas to advice on where to eat and fun things to do. Hope to visit again one day!

There is not much to say that has not already been covered in other reviews, but here you go. The Addison is absolutely charming and the Bob and Shannon are excellent inn-keepers. The rooms are well appointed and the location is perfect for walking to the charming downtown area. My wife and I strongly recommend breakfast as they go above... More

Bob, his family, and his staff made our much needed vacation absolutely perfect!
