I stayed with a friend for our birthdays and we had the best time. Deedra (?) at the front desk checked us in and made us feel so welcome, she really set a great tone for our stay! Only complaint is they need more water stations or fountains through out the hotel.
Great property off the the road behind gates. It is a well-maintained environment and right on the beach. Rooms are nice. The atmosphere and looks reminded us of an all-inclusive hotel in Mexico or Jamaica. Staff were nice. Bob’s steakhouse was outstanding. Pool is nice.
The Nature Center at the Amelia island Omni Resort is a wonderful place to learn about turtles and snakes and other local species. There is a great and very knowledgeable staff there, especially Daaci , she took the time to talk with us and explain all about the reptiles and mammals that are featured at the center and introduced us to Buddy, an amazing parrot. She went above and beyond answering any and all of our questions and was a pleasure to talk with. She was able to highlight many of the events and resources available at the resort. We will definitely be coming back and looking forward to bringing friends and family.
We took a 4 day trip to Omni Amelia Island Resort recently and the experience was great. We experienced most of the restaurants and all were exceptional. We had one particular waiter, Joey, at the Oceanside. He was pleasant, funny and very good natured. If you are dining there, be sure to ask for Joey! We also enjoyed the Sunrise Cafe for the buffet. The food was excellent for a buffet and our waitress, Melissa, was outstanding! Bob's Steak & Chop House was also very good. My sister-in-law and I enjoyed time at the Spa and I must say, Sean is AMAZING! If you have time, be sure to check the shoppes out and then hit up the Spa!
We stayed at the Omni resort Amelia island hotel last year and had a lovely time, so much so we came back again. But this time we wanted a villa and booked it through Airbnb, unknown to us that we would not have access to resort amenities. I even called in advance to ask about tennis programs and said we were staying in an Airbnb villa. Staff either doesn't tell you about issues or know that they should. We would be happy to pay extra for the amenities, and offered to do so, instead we get treated as lower class guests. Very disappointed in the lack of communication.
Candace Nicole, the manager of the Nature Center, was outstanding! She was helpful, inviting, and educated us about the animals at the Center. We highly recommend visiting the Nature Center when on the Omni Resort on Amelia Island.
This place is amazing. When we checked in, we were assigned an associate named Jennifer Alberici. She was so professional, and worked hard to get us a room that fit our needs. She answered all our questions and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exactly as we expected. Thank you Jennifer for making my daughters wedding weekend experience a memorable one. You went above and beyond on!!!
Best front desk experience ever. We needed a reservation at the last minute as our flight was cancelled. We were greeted by Deidra at the front desk. She was the most professional, kind and knowledgeable hotel customer service rep. She went out of her way to get us into a room asap, offered breakfast vouchers and informed us of all the resort had to offer. The resort is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The pool/patio area overlooks the Atlantic and all pool chairs/tables were in excellent condition. Abve all, the staff are wonderful! Thank you Omni, we will be back!
Quality is what I think of when I book the Omni for three nights. Well other than the service from the staff, I’d have to say I disagree with that thought. I’m a solo traveler, so I pick places that I feel safe. I booked the Omni because I wanted to treat myself for a change. A nice relaxing getaway. However, I expected more and can say I’m highly disappointed in my stay. Again the staff top notch. My room. I’m not sure what decor they were going for. ( see pictures) The shower area was dirty, the sink didn’t drain, the carpet was stained, I had to keep a towel around facet because it leaked. The drapes are stained and torn. The balcony was filthy. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Just made me sad when you expect and pay for more.
The beaches are spotless, the people are friendly, the places to visit like the history museum, the Fort & the small.shops. A fun thing to do is search the beaches for sharks teeth. There is a bar 1 block from the Ramada Fernadino hotel that is famous for it's Pirates Punch. Be careful it packs a punch.
