My family stayed here last week in middle of October. We arrived at midnight, having reserved in advance and requested late check in due to having a 6 hr drive to get there Being dark when we arrived, we had no idea the view we would experience at sunrise. Myself and my daughter went on the balcony at sunrise and had our breath taken away by the view of the sun rising over the ocean. The beach, even in peak hours of the day was not crowded. A local helped us find shark teeth on the beach. Hotel staff was excellent, especially Valta who cooks the morning hot breakfast She gave my daughter a plastic ornament to fill with sand and shells to hang on our Christmas tree to remember my daughters first trip to the beach. She told us of the events in town, where to find great things to see for our daughter and family. The room was spacious with all necessary amenities, and as I mentioned it was right on the beach with excellent views. We will definitely return, skipping the beach in our state for a return to this beautiful Amelia Island and great hotel. Local shop owners are all friendly and support each other. We were looking for a specific souvenir and if the store didn't have it, they recommended another store where we could find what we were looking for. Locals were as great and friendly as the hotel staff, and a tour of the island was available and told of the amazing history of Amelia Island. Seaside Inn only made our trip more special. Definitely recommended.

Seaside Amelia Island is a small hotel at Main Beach. It is on the beach but the balcony suites are actually overlooking the Main Beach parking lot...the Beach is to the right of the partial ocean view balcony suites. The ocean front suites do not have balconies and do not allow for any outdoor experience as windows do not open. The rooms (I stayed in an ocean front suite and a queen balcony partial ocean view suite) are quite small. Furnishing is older. A few blinds were broken, shower needed grout replaced but at first glance it is dated but nice. The rooms were not as clean as I expected for the price point. There were layers of dust/dirt on the vents, blinds and ceiling fan. Also found random hair (not mine) throughout the suites. My queen balcony suite had an pass through door to the next suite nd I could hear the guests next door as if they were in the room with me. There is a nice lounge on the top floor with a walkout rooftop deck. The deck furniture is pretty basic but the small indoor area is nice. Breakfast is a plus and well prepared with a small, but varied, selection. Because of Covid, staff were available to prepare and package up breakfast which we appreciated. Parking is easily accessible. Plus, its free! The location directly at the Main Beach might impact parking in the summer months as it was busy the first day I arrived in October. Because the balconies for the partial ocean view suites overlook the parking lot, i wouldn't expect a relaxing ocean experience in those suites or the hotel in the busier seasons. The biggest plus of this hotel are the staff. From the front desk to the custodial team, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to offer assistance. Covid note: The hotel has signs everywhere stating that all guests must wear masks inside of the hotel. We only saw a few guests without masks and saw staff working hard to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Rooms are small but clean, Biggest plus for me was being right on the beach and having my chairs and umbrella set up and waiting for me. Staff was great. Olivia is the best, always trying to accomodate any needs we had.

Smaller rooms but clean and comfortable. The location to the beach is a plus, the staff were friendly. It is pet friendly but the rooms for that are on the ground floor so you hear a lot of lobby noise.

My family and I stayed here on a whim and we were not dissapointed. Unfortunately it rained the whole time but thankfully the hotel was nice enough to make up for that. Both our rooms had blaconies with a great view of the ocean and the having such close beach access was great. There are multiple eating options to walk to as well and Ft. Clinch State Park is minutes away and downtown Amelia. The free breakfast was great as well and a very pleasant surprise. I'd definitely recommend!
