2 of us stayed on 25/8/16, our room was lovely, the pool is amazing and the staff our super friendly. It is off season in august which suited us, breakfast was included but our planned excursion was early so we missed it. They offered us late check out at no extra because our excursion ended at 11 and we wouldn't... More

To start with a "negative": we only planned to stay one night... We booked a family room with 2 queen size beds. De rooms are very clean and have nice interior. Beds are high and comfortable, not too soft, not too firm. The AC works well and is quite silent. Sleeping with AC turned on was very nice. In the... More

This is a truly lovely small scale and very homely place to stay. People are friendly and welcoming and most important: you can sleep very comfortable here! We stayed as a family, 2 adults two kids and we had a the typical 2 queen bed room. The room was very spatious and looked nice and most important: the beds were... More

We stayed in the cottage next to the main building and it had everything we needed. A very well-organised and equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, coffeemaker, crockery and cutlery, a lounge area and dining table, 2 very comfortable rooms and a shower/toilet with lots of towels available. A great place to come back to at the end of the day.

We stayed at Ivey House recently during our trip through Florida, it was ideally placed for our airboat tour. The rooms are basic as you may expect from a two star motel, but the cleanliness of the place was first class, as was the helpfulness of the staff during our stay. The bonus of the pool was refreshing after a... More

There's not much choice when it come to hotels in the middle of the Everglades. This one has the look and feel of family owned place, well maintained, clean and quiet. The staff is particularly friendly and welcoming. Lovely little inside / open air pool protected by mosquito screen on top. Small negative - bathroom/shower a bit run down.

Started off nice with good reception. Rooms are dated but clean. Prices based on popularity and lack of choices in the city. Didn't use the semi indoor pool. Breakfast had nothing special, but got you filled up (no scambled egg, bacon etc). Good for a night, but that is it. Probably on par with rest in Everglades city

Spent two nights while on a fishing weekend in the Everglades. Nice accommodations, good breakfast and friendly staff. Easy walking to a few places to dine, gas station, ice cream and airboat rides! They have their own nature tours which we took advantage of. Kayaked in the Everglades amongst mangroves and alligators. Great time.

Cute little hotel for a night stop. Staff friendly and room and facilities clean and comfortable. Great aircon which was much needed. Breakfast basic but okay to have a nice coffee and a little bite but nice to have on offer. Great option if you stopping for the night in Everglades city.

We were very surprised when we arrived at Ivy House , we didn't expect a lot , as this is classed as a B&B, but we were amazed at what Ivy House had to offer. Our room was large, spotlessly clean , and up to date . There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room but you... More
