There's not much choice when it come to hotels in the middle of the Everglades. This one has the look and feel of family owned place, well maintained, clean and quiet. The staff is particularly friendly and welcoming. Lovely little inside / open air pool protected by mosquito screen on top. Small negative - bathroom/shower a bit run down.

Started off nice with good reception. Rooms are dated but clean. Prices based on popularity and lack of choices in the city. Didn't use the semi indoor pool. Breakfast had nothing special, but got you filled up (no scambled egg, bacon etc). Good for a night, but that is it. Probably on par with rest in Everglades city

Spent two nights while on a fishing weekend in the Everglades. Nice accommodations, good breakfast and friendly staff. Easy walking to a few places to dine, gas station, ice cream and airboat rides! They have their own nature tours which we took advantage of. Kayaked in the Everglades amongst mangroves and alligators. Great time.

Cute little hotel for a night stop. Staff friendly and room and facilities clean and comfortable. Great aircon which was much needed. Breakfast basic but okay to have a nice coffee and a little bite but nice to have on offer. Great option if you stopping for the night in Everglades city.

We were very surprised when we arrived at Ivy House , we didn't expect a lot , as this is classed as a B&B, but we were amazed at what Ivy House had to offer. Our room was large, spotlessly clean , and up to date . There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room but you... More

Very nice hotel in a good location in Everglade City. The staff was great and helpful. The room was amazingly clean with great air conditioning. For Breakfast they had waffles, different bread types, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cheeses, yogurt, juices & coffee. If you have little ones there is a pool inside with a screened ceiling. So so happy I choose... More

What a quaint, wonderful, little town Everglades City is, and Ivey House is the perfect place to stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours before check in, but they welcomed us right in and made sure our room was ready! The room was large, clean, and right by the pool. We were concerned it might... More

After having driven through a horrendous rain storm, we arrived at the Ivey House with well marked entrances and a welcoming staff. They had a town map and restaurant suggestion papers WITH OPERATING HOURS so visitors weren't driving all over town in the 'off season' finding restaurants closed at 6:00. The place is spotless throughout, the air conditioning works plus... More

This place is really sweet. It's not very busy in June so we were able to get an early check in and the best recommendations for a boat trip out to Ten Thousand Islands. There is a wonderful screened in pool patio inside the breezeway. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was substantial for our 4 hour... More
