Enjoyed the visit to Everglades City. After searching for lodging and reading the reviews we decided to stay at Ivey House. Due to COVID-19 they were not serving breakfast so we improvised with our own amenities. They do have bikes available for use with a liability release. I am pleased to know that they are being cautious and following CDC guidelines. I did however learn that they were owned by a foreign-owned Holdings company and not locally owned. We always try to support locally owned and operated businesses. That being said unless I can find a VRBO I would consider staying there again.

The room was spacious but very dated as was the en-suite. The main problem was the lack of a cooked breakfast which paid for and which was not available because those before had eaten it all. All attempts to obtain a refund were ignored. Avoid.

I was here for a few days to “get away”. I called this location because of the positive reviews. The lady I talked to on the phone was very polite and very helpful. When we arrived we were equality impressed with the ladies at the front desk. The Inn was very charming, very clean and a very good decision on our part. The room was very clean and a good size. The breakfast was typical fair and a good way to get our day started and was included with the room rate. In all we were very pleased and would certainly stay here again.

Excellent accommodation. The staff were courteous. The evening meals that we had there were out of this world! The kayak outfitters were great. Tom and Dillon from Road Scholar were informative, caring, and funn guides. I will definitely refer friends to this place

The staff here were wonderful and helpful. We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were given a print out indicating which restaurants were open or closed for the holidays which was very helpful. I had left my camera battery recharger which was promptly mailed to me after I called. The breakfast was more than adequate, certainly not gourmet, but decent amount of choices with constant restocking. The rooms are older, nothing special but clean and functional.
