Stayed here on an impromptu trip to the swamps and we were so blown away by everything this place has to offer. It has all the luxury amenities of a nicer hotel, but none of the pretentiousness.

Our room had 2 comfortable beds and a mini kitchen area. They also have a sofa bed but we didn't use it. Water pressure was excellent, and the room was very clean. Somehow I associate being in the Everglades with some kind of semi-grimy camping trip but this was really immaculately clean. I so appreciated the thought that went into designing this hotel.

After a long day on the water, being with animals and in the hot sun, a cool shower, and a comfortable bed is really all we wanted. Didn't want to deal with the swamp IN our hotel room!

Staff is super kind here, and after speaking to them it seems like they've been working here a long time. They took the time to book all of our tours for us, even managing to score us a private kayak tour with a fantastic knowledgeable guide on a day the regular tours were full.

We appreciated that they took precautions like wearing masks and having hand sanitizer available.

It's a small family operation with a big franchise familiarity. The rooms look and feel a lot like a franchise hotel--something we were unable to find in other local hotels. We spoke to the front desk staff and it sounds like this is a family owned business and we were glad to support them. They have some sundries for sale at the front desk, and a small gift shop. If you forget your sunscreen and hat, this is the place to pick it up!

Five Stars for comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, great location, ease of booking the room and tours, and a overall excellent value. I will definitely come here again!

The motel is located directly in Everglades City and offers free parking.

The staff at the front dest is very helpful and always open and available for questions. They will provide you a map of the area and recommend food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as there are not so many possibilities around.

The rooms are modern, new and very big. They are clean and come with a kitchenet, which however is not equipped - so no cups, plates, cutlery etc. Maybe they will change this in the future.

The beds are very comfortable.

The downside - it is very loud. As we had the first room on the left when entering the building, you always heard the main door opening and falling back to the lock, which is so loud, as no one seems to be able to open and close this door quietly. When you are asleep, you will for sure wake up from this. My recommendation to the hotel: put something at the door/ on the door frame, which will automaticly slow down the door, so it falls back to the lock slowly and therefore more quietly. Based on that, we unfortunately did not have a very good night sleep.

The Good: The room seemed recently remodeled. The hardwood floor made it easy to clean after a day at the beach. The receptionists and housekeeper we interacted with were friendly. Beds were fine. The shower is large and easy to turn around in for larger people or could easily accommodate two.

The Bad: No breakfast.

Conclusion: Everything was pretty acceptable and if we find ourselves in Everglades City, we'll likely be back.

Not a usable kitchen in Suite. Staff very friendly and hotel is close to trails we wanted to hike. But the suites do not have usable kitchens as advertised! We planned and needed to cook our dinner and breakfast due to food allergies. We had purchased groceries for this purpose and brought them in a cooler. While the space was large (including kitchen area - which had full size unused dishwasher), there was no stove, no utensils, no dishes, no pots and pans, not even dish soap. Microwave and fridge were usable. We had to eat out of food containers and use the tiny bottle of shampoo to wash our allotment of 3 plastic spoons so everyone could eat. When we asked about discrepancy we were given a few plastic spoons and knives and told to try to find provisions in the gas station store nearby. (None). Only grocery store in town closed by 7 pm. We paid nearly $300 for this suite for 1 night for our 5 person family, paying extra for our kids. The suite also had holes in walls in bathroom where mice etc could get thru. If you need space, save yourself money and drive to a Marriott in Naples. Had we known Naples was only 30 min away, we would have stayed for free in a Marriott, with the better amenities including fridge and microwave - the only usable items in this hotel Suite.

First of all, we had NO cell service while in the hotel. This is a serious flaw since hotel rooms no longer provide phones, so if we'd had an emergency, we had no means of contact.

Secondly, we selected this hotel after our first choice (Ivey House, same company and connected to these suites by the office area) was unavailable, expecting a similar experience. However, guests staying in the suites are not permitted access to the pool - only those staying in Ivey House itself. Yet the prices were identical.

The room had several flaws such as holes in the walls and poorly installed shower paneling that made it look cheap.

I will say the bed was comfortable, and we liked having a desk for work as well as a roll-out table for eating. The room does include a large refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, but no dishes or silverware are provided. We also liked the USB ports in the lamps that made it easy to charge our electronics.

The hotel is also within walking distance of several good restaurants. We plan to come back to Everglades City as we enjoyed our activities there, such as the airboat ride, but will definitely pick a different hotel.

The hotel is quaint and the property is old but in an excellent location to access Everglades adventures. It’s dated and looks nothing like the online pictures (mismatched furniture, outdated bathrooms). There are NO amenities (no lotion, soap or conditioner- there is a jug of body wash and shampoo in shower. Guests are limited to 1 towel per day. Restaurant is closed and this is not reflected on website.
Housekeeping is non existent. You must request your room be cleaned 24 hours in advance- no exception if room is dirty when you arrive (ours reeked of mildew and linens had visible mildew). A dehumidifier was provided however it is not cleaned.
The pool is small, not heated. Beach towels are provided.
The staff at front desk are very friendly.
This is a good place to stay overnight but definitely would not recommend more than one night because it’s not clean and service is very limited. I did report my concerns and got a friendly response .

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting the Everglades and it did not disappoint. Our room was the one seen on the pictures, very spacious and clean. We used the pool which was a little cool but under a shelter which was great as there was no bugs/ leaves in the water. Thee reception area was a little dated but gave it it character! The staff were all very friendly recommending places to eat and find wildlife. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Really lovely hotel, we arrived today and had the most pleasant welcome! The team is great and made our day by being very generous! Nothing we take for granted.
We are staying for two days in one of the suites and after traveling Florida for two weeks, that definitely is the most comfortable room we stayed in! Very spacious, kitchen with big fridge & freezer plus dishwasher. Bathroom is perfectly set up with a really big shower. And also the room has Sofa that could also be departed from the beds by a curtain to have the feeling of two rooms. It just had everything we could have asked for.
Can really only recommend to anyone.

There really is nothing I can say negative about this hotel! We stayed in one of the new suites and it was so clean, comfortable and offered everything you need for your stay, including a very nice kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning was cold. Convenient to restaurants, gas and outdoor activities. Actually, all of these are in walking distance! Would definitely stay here again :)
Note: their on-site restaurant is temporarily closed.

We enjoyed our stay in Everglades City. The hotel is very clean. We had a full sized refrigerator, which was great. The pool area was very relaxing. We used the washer and dryer as we were on a long road trip. There's only one of each machine, and both could really be replaced with new models. They worked, but are showing their age. The back parking lot behind the suites needs some attention. Overall it was a great stay.
