The updates are helpful and we liked the tile. Bathroom is really updated and quite unexpected. Cool sink. The only real issue is the walls are paper thin and you WILL hear the next room if they are talking. I mean you WILL hear them talking.
Small clean motel , easy travel distance to Everglades Park. Restaurant to walk to next door . We got the kitchen suite , seems a little pricey but obviously well taken care of and recently renovated . Parking is assigned but that didn’t seem to matter
While there are improvements yet needed, the room was clean & quiet. The front desk, check in was at a different hotel location nearby. Attendant was very nice & informative. Our hotel area is obviously old & dated. Rooms are updated, comfy beds. There were no bath towels - must have forgotten to leave them, thank goodness there were 2 hand towels & 2 wash clothes! Lighting was "nill" in the desk area. A desk light & mirror would be a wonderful addition there! We would stay there again, however I would rather stay in the hotel that had the front desk. This is a neat area to visit for sure!
It’s difficult to find a place to stay that makes it easy to travel with a boat. The Everglades City Motel is set up for boaters with a wash down area, plugs and ample ice. The room was clean and the staff nice. Not a fancy place but it has everything an adventurer could need. Don’t forget to get down to the Havana Cafe in Chokoloskee for a great lunch or dinner and pick up a Cuban sandwich for the next day in the boat.
Nice, clean, and remodeled. Decent size room. The only thing missing is a soft chair though it does have an office chair. Quiet, good king size beds, nice people. Went fish is hung with Captain Rodney Raffield but got rained out until tomorrow.
