Turtle Bay Condos is located perfectly on Englewood Beach. Walking distance to great restaurants, great musical entertainment, a great Circle K convenient store and across the road from a beautiful beach. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The condo we rented provided a great view of Lemon Bay and the association pool. Because there a just a few units, the pool is never crowded. The grounds are very well maintained and the units are very well equipped, including everything you need in the kitchen, everything you need for the beach and pool. If you do need anything, a quick email to Susan and you will have a positive response. The screened in porch is a perfect place for your meals and the open deck is perfect for sun bathing. The high end washer and dryer is another big plus. I would highly recommend renting a two bedroom condo in this development.

Our family has taken our winter getaway to Turtle Bay for 8 years in a row. We fell in love with Englewood and TBC right away. This year we had a nice and quiet week of fishing, shelling and shark tooth hunting. In addition, we brought our inflatable paddleboard and got the opportunity to have a dolphin come say hello when we were using it in the bay! Our condo never disappoints. It is always clean and well stocked, and it feels like we are coming home because it has a great, comfortable, and now familiar feel to us. The staff are always very responsive to our requests, even if it is just new batteries for the tv remote. We enjoy saying hello to the friendly guests in the surrounding condos. The only problem we had was our two weeks went by too fast and we wish we did not have to leave so soon. Definitely will be back next year.

Took my family for a quick beach trip (I have a large family-6 in total) before school started. It was kinda last minute but totally worth it! Our condo was right next to the dock- which my husband and sons enjoyed fishing (fishing poles were already at the condo). The condo was spacious, super clean and ready for us when we arrived.i it was also fully stocked with everything that we could have needed. Proximity was within walking distance from dining. The private beach was also a short walk (chairs also provided). It was a short trip but I will definitely be back!!

Rented unit 1D through VRBO and had a great time. We docked our boat at the condo dock and had a wonderful time boating and fishing every day. The owner sent several texts asking if all was well and to see if we needed anything. We intend to return!!

Being someone that is getting closer to retirement age, I picked Turtle Bay Condos to start practicing retirement. I loved everything about staying there. The condo itself was clean, bright and well equipped with most things one would need at the beach. The beautiful heated pool was just steps from my condo and the view from my lanai was gorgeous! The grounds were very well kept also. Everything was within walking distance - the beach, restaurants, bars, convenient store. The owner was very available, answering every question via text within minutes! I hope I can go back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at your place. It was perfect! The condo was clean and location was great. We enjoyed having the beach chairs/towels there and we used the grill also. My favorite part was the screened in porch, beatiful view of the bay. Close to convenience store and restaurants.

Full disclosure-I accidentally booked this stay (don't ask) thinking I was returning to condos we had stayed in years ago. But what could have been disappointing turned into a great stay. The units are not fancy but are bright and clean- the kitchen is well stocked and there is a screened lanai ( ours had a beautiful view.) The beach is a quick walk away (you have to cross a 2 lane road and walk through a parking area) which was not an issue for us-it might be if you had tiny kids and all their beach toys in tow. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels are provided. The manager responded quickly to my only complaint (someone was in our reserved parking spot.) The area and the condos themselves are very quiet-I could hear a baby crying in the downstairs unit only when I walked by their window, otherwise I never would have known there was anyone staying there. Internet access, cable, nice pool for when it's too hot for the beach.

If you are looking for a big hotel or resort with tons of activities and amenities, this is not the place for you. However, If you are looking for a place to totally relax and chill out, then this is the place. Staying at Turtle Bay Condos feels like you are staying at the vacation home of a really good friend. The units are clean, comfortable and well furnished, with all of the linens, beach towels and kitchenware you could possibly need. The property is arranged in a row or four buildings, which run from the street to the bay. Each building has only two units - an upper and lower unit - which means the units have a lot of light with windows on four sides and also a good deal of privacy as you only have one neighbor.
The beach is an easy walk across the street. Unfortunately, there was a very unusual weather system with cold, strong winds when my husband and I visited, which prevented us from spending much time at the beach. Luckily, Turtle Bay Condos has a lovely heated pool that was protected from the strong winds. The pool is not large, but it has a nice, well thought out design with comfortable loungers on the pool deck.
We stayed in unit 3B, which has a view of the bay. We enjoyed sitting on the screened lanai, especially during a rainstorm and for our morning coffee. it was so....relaxing. We also spent some time sitting on the dock, which was.... relaxing. See a theme here? Some other guests were fishing when a manatee and her calf swam up to the dock. We would have loved to see them. Maybe next time. We did see sting rays, dolphins and tons of birds, including pelicans, from the dock.
The location is great. There are a number of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. We also visited Stump Pass Beach State Park, which is very close, and saw eagles, turtles and dolphins during a walk down the nature trail.
Despite the weather, we had a wonderful trip and can't wait to go back.
