Simple but attractive setting and a pleasnt room with good seating and with a balcony, Very helpful staff, comfortable bed, very clean and well furnished with good simple kitchen area for breakfasts (bring supplies). Sadly we had iffy weather-sea fog, winds little rain so not the beach stay we had hoped for but the room was comfortable enough to sit in and read.
We wanted an off the beaten path, quiet get away and this came very close. If not for some inconsiderate, loud guests in the room(s) below us, it surely would’ve been that (with the ocean right there, it would’ve been easy for them to take their voices & loud conversations a few steps away or at least close their doors.) Back to the good - it’s a very cute Inn. We stayed in #10, which has a king bed, little kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink. Come prepared - either pick up groceries & provisions on the way and/or have a car, as the closest restaurants are about 7 miles away. This, for us, was a plus but some other guests were unhappy because their room didn’t have a kitchen & they didn’t have a car (not sure how they got there!) I’m pretty sure all the rooms have a refrigerator & microwave, though.. be sure you know what your room has & what you’ll need. The coffee maker has little pre-packed pouches = 4 small cups of coffee each, so if you want more coffee than that, bring coffee & round filters. I made dinner one night using the stove & the main element was not connected- I reconnected it & it was really grimy 🤢- they really ought to replace that stove. The room has a nice little private porch and another little balcony, which adds space & a place to enjoy your area privately as well as a deck with grills & chairs downstairs. The view from our porch was a little disappointing… rooftop with air conditioners and the ocean beyond that. I’m thinking that may also be a little loud in the summer (air conditioners.). Rooms 4 & 5 are directly on the beach with a little elevated “yard,” which gives the best beach view & access, but there is no divider between those areas, which could be a plus or minus depending on how much privacy you want. I want to give high compliments to the housekeeping staff - the room was nice and clean, not an easy task for a beachfront resort. Overall, we had a nice visit. I guess the older I get, the more I’m leaning to renting a little house in the future to avoid the party noise that comes with beachfront resorts.…
The Pearl Beach Inn is truly a gem. This small MOTEL is situated on the beach in a residential area with the nearest dining approximately 5 miles away. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean. WiFI is only available on the patio outside the office and cell phone reception is intermediate. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a small motel located directly on the beach this is it. We will definitely return.
Someone else wrote but I failed to listen - there is truly little to no WiFi here. Even phone calls are difficult. We visited to do a real estate transaction that proved to be very difficult. All that said, staff was great and did their best to help us. Place is really nice. Setting is terrific. Would definitely visit if work (and my young adult kids) weren’t part of the picture.
This was our 3rd visit. We usually see a different part of the Gulf coast each year but we find ourselves drawn here. If you watch the video on the website, you'll see why. We found about 600 small sharks teeth which are so fun to find. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean. The air sometimes had trouble catching up but it is Florida. We met lots of friendly people but the most on the beach on one day was about 25 and most of them belonged to a family group. The water was as beautiful as the water in the panhandle. Dolphins were so close you could video. We will definitely go back again.
My husband and I stayed at the Pearl Beach Inn for his Birthday weekend. Had a wonderful time! The property was clean the area was very quiet, and the beach was wonderful. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area and a lot to do and see. The on-site staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Adequate for our needs. The rooms were clean. The setting was lovely (right on the beach). The staff was accommodating, but we didn't bother them for anything. We stayed 5 or so days. Even though it was a vacation I still had to do a little light work which required a wifi connection and the only way to achieve that was to sit by the office which is not convenient at all, especially when it's windy or on cool days. I think (had I known up front) that WIFI signal was weak to nothing in the units, I would have passed on this property and stayed else where. Some people might prefer not having access to the internet though.
First off... the staff over the phone were amazing! We booked online but called for our questions. Everyone was so friendly. We checked in late but everything was perfectly set up for us. We picked room #5 for our stay. The one directly looking out at the beach. It has a kitchenette so if you’re looking for a place on a budget, buy the room and bring groceries with you. Was perfect for us! Room number 5 didn’t get the WiFi that was provide and we didn’t get good service (we have Verizon) but it was okay with us because it made us enjoy the beach even more. Lots of shark teeth and all the locals were very friendly on the beach! Beautiful sunsets and great fishing! My husband caught.... trout, pin fish, whiting, jacks, Spanish mackerel, and ladyfish. Even got to see some dolphins playing in the morning! Checking out was a breeze. I strongly recommend this place. Kind of like a bed and breakfast and a private beach. If you get a chance.... stay here!!!…
The hotel is in the amazing location and one of the best values of your trip! The beach is amazing and very private. We stayed in room 10 with balcony of ocean view. The room had complete kitchen including stove, freezer, and dishes. Beach chairs and towels were included as well. Only negative item is there was zero service Or WiFi... but it is nice to unplug!
I don’t know where to begin... the power went out overnight, so in the morning that means no coffee, no breakfast, no hot water...when I asked if there was going to be any type of consideration on the bill the answer was a flat, snarky “no”. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, so I’m used to humidity, but the entire room was like a swamp. If you sat on a chair your butt got wet. Water would drip on you while sitting on the toilet. The beach was covered with tree debris and random pieces of lumber. There was absolutely no WiFi at all (we couldn’t even locate the network) and the cell service was virtually nonexistent - I understand going there to “unplug” but it would be nice to have the ability to text or call a friend or search the web to check the weather. For the price they charge I felt like a robbery victim. The absolute lack of any concern WHATSOEVER about having NO POWER and thus no ability to even make a morning cup of coffee was unconscionable. Like the title says, Never Again.…
