Miles of soft sand beach are yours --- stroll the entire length of the Key, search for beach treasures such as fossilized shark’s teeth, elegant and delicate shells, or simply bask in the sun or relax in a hammock. Our beachside inn consists of twelve waterfront efficiencies (1 with a stove, others with microwaves) and one suite, which has a full kitchen and room for 6. All accomodations are furnished in a casual tropical decor. We pride ourselves on our excellent staff…they are the key to making your stay just perfect. Detailed Reviews
The Pearl Beach Inn is truly a gem. This small MOTEL is situated on the beach in a residential area with the nearest dining approximately 5 miles away. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean. WiFI is only available on the patio outside the office and cell phone reception is intermediate. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a small motel located directly on the beach this is it. We will definitely return.

Remote location, right on the beautiful beach. Well maintained and clean. Truly a great place to unplug as there is little to no cell service and their wifi is really poor due to this. So... if you want to get away from it all, this is a little slice of heaven. If you have to work, it's difficult. Bare bones motel but truly worth every cent. You can not beat being able to walk out to the beach. Everyone on the property was friendly.

I generally try to vacation on Manasota Key at least twice a year and I always stay at the Pearl Beach Inn. My last stay, the weekend before Thanksgiving, was a delightful experience, as always. The staff and support are first class, and the manager, Lindy, makes every guest feel like an old friend. Her knowledge of the key and the surrounding communities is invaluable. She makes everyone feel at home, and the other guests that I visited with all express the same sentiments. I'll continue to call the Pearl my home on Manasota Key!

This was our second trip to pearl Beach Inn . It is also without a doubt the last. The ownership is the worst and totally oblivious to the safety and welfare of their "guests". My wife and I laid down about ten o'clock, tired from the early part of our trip and most of the day in the ocean. Around midnight our bed dropped several inches. I jumped from the bed , looked underneath, and could scarcely believe my eyes. This huge mattress rested on a few slats that were too few in number or width or thickness to support the bed and two adults. In the center of each slat was a vertical piece of wood. A pitiful attempt to prop things up. I have pictures of the whole lousy job. I tried to straighten the "legs", (pieces of wood) back to vertical , and we laid back down trying to lay on each edge just to get to sleep. Again it fell and this time it threw me into the floor. No sleep at all and having a return trip to North Carolina the next day. We complained the next morning , asked for a refund for that night, the manager assured us it would be resolved. This happened December 27, today is January 15. Nothing has been done. No contact has been attempted by them. Making sure the charge on the card was processed imeadiately though took precedent over everything. Please anyone who reads this take your business to somewhere you are appreciated and taken care of.

I don’t know where to begin... the power went out overnight, so in the morning that means no coffee, no breakfast, no hot water...when I asked if there was going to be any type of consideration on the bill the answer was a flat, snarky “no”. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, so I’m used to humidity, but the entire room was like a swamp. If you sat on a chair your butt got wet. Water would drip on you while sitting on the toilet. The beach was covered with tree debris and random pieces of lumber. There was absolutely no WiFi at all (we couldn’t even locate the network) and the cell service was virtually nonexistent - I understand going there to “unplug” but it would be nice to have the ability to text or call a friend or search the web to check the weather. For the price they charge I felt like a robbery victim. The absolute lack of any concern WHATSOEVER about having NO POWER and thus no ability to even make a morning cup of coffee was unconscionable. Like the title says, Never Again.

Adequate for our needs. The rooms were clean. The setting was lovely (right on the beach). The staff was accommodating, but we didn't bother them for anything. We stayed 5 or so days. Even though it was a vacation I still had to do a little light work which required a wifi connection and the only way to achieve that was to sit by the office which is not convenient at all, especially when it's windy or on cool days. I think (had I known up front) that WIFI signal was weak to nothing in the units, I would have passed on this property and stayed else where. Some people might prefer not having access to the internet though.

My husband and I have visited The Pearl Beach Inn regularly for around 20 years. Lindy, the manager has been absolutely wonderful and made our most recent stays an absolute joy. Unfortunately, the current owner was rude, whiny and obnoxious and we will not be returning because of him. It's a shame to have so many years of memories spoiled by an individual who clearly has no business being in the hospitality business. The location is superb and we hope to come back someday if the motel is taken over by new owners. Lindy....you'll be missed!!!!!

Excellent stay at a hidden gem. Staff were friendly and the place had everything needed for a great stay at the beach. Our room had a balcony overlooking ocean and it was well equipped. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, tools for kids to play in sand. The staff gave great suggestions for dinner options and local attractions. The best attraction was the private beach which even on a busy weekend was empty.

It’s hard to believe that such a classic and charming vacation spot still exists in the era of the mega resort, but the Pearl is an absolute Pearl! Peaceful and tranquil with a friendly and helpful staff, breathtaking Gulf Coast views, and a beautiful and ultra private beach provide peace and solitude. Nice clean rooms have what you need. I highly recommend and am planning my next trip back here.
