We stayed an enjoyable 10 days in the East park and would love to come back soon. There is an amazing team atmosphere from the friendly office ladies to the staff who are everywhere on the grounds in the golf carts; the Manager who helped us connect to TV cable was a true southern gentleman whom with we enjoyed meeting and chatting. If anyone on staff was within 10 feet of you they’d genuinely greet you warmly. And, the text message updates were very helpful.
The facilities are truly worthy of being called a resort. The view of the Gulf was spectacular. The restrooms and showers were clean and beautiful with tile. We used the laundry facility and were pleasantly surprised how relatively inexpensive the cost was. We were in site #12 for 5 days and site #23 for the remaining five. Both were terrific. And, one evening we enjoyed a concert at the West park pavilion.
The other compelling reason to come back were the camping guests we met. Each one went beyond a simple “hi, how’re you?” and asked where you from? How long you here? etc. these simple openings made us feel welcome and led to some fun conversation! We really enjoyed the people around us! It truly felt like a community. This was our very first trip ever in our “new” vintage Minnie Winnie and everyone was so helpful in sharing tips, guidance and other pearls of wisdom.
We brought our dog and appreciated the double bark park set up. Our dog is a friendly 5 yo Spinone Italiano; we soon realized most people travel with little breeds and not a 120 pound goofy companion. So, when he was in one side of the dog park there was always a second space for anyone else who preferred not to interact. The parks were free of any waste and had soft wood chips to walk on. This cut down on sand/dirt brought back into our RV which I greatly appreciated.

We have been coming here for several years now as a perfect cure for the grey northern winter blahs. I'm always amazed at how they manage to make a near perfect RV retreat just a little bit better. There are two large enclosed dog areas for you pup's exercise. Laundry and shower facilities are always clean and are conveniently located right outside the clubhouse so you can sit comfortably and read or visit with others while waiting for your wash to dry. The heated pool is a real treat. The staff, both office and maintenance, is outstanding both friendly and accommodating. Can you tell I can't say enough good things about this place?

This is a great location for visiting Apalachicola, St. George Island, Cape San Blass, and some of Florida’s most undeveloped coastline. The park is extremely well kept. Concrete pads with gravel surrounding the pads are level & keep the RVs from getting full of sand. The bathrooms and pool are spectacular. My husband joked that the travertine showers were nicer than ours at home! Other campers were friendly and respectful— as were the staff members. Beautiful views of the bay. It is located in Hwy 98 which is a main drag. Good for getting out to visit nearby restaurants and shopping. Can be noisy at night with traffic and definitely during the day. Great for adults but not a real entertaining place for kids at the campground. For meeting friends and visiting the area for a week it was PERFECT!

While my husband and I love this resort, and have been there several times, we are very disappointed in the lack of customer care after having to leave the resort 9 days early in a monthlong reservation due to a reservation error on the part of Coastline. During the course of our monthlong reservation, we had reservations on 3 different sites. A reservation error hqppened twice during our stay, but in the earlier instance they were able to correct their error and give us the site we had reserved, assuring us that our reservation for the remaining 2 sites was intact. In the second instance, they offered us a substandard, emergency site to take the place of the very desirable site that was reserved and confirmed in a print receipt in advance. Their offer of compensation was unsatisfactory, and after attempting negotiation with them, they would not budge. Even though I checked with the office three times during our stay to make sure that our move to each new site was in good order, and was assured that all was well, we were surprised at the last minute that someone else was staying on the site we were scheduled to move to. We had less than 24 hours to either accept their offer for the site they offered in a construction area of the park which was unlevel, with no patio area, and was totally unacceptable, find a site in another RV park, or return home. After checking with other resorts in the area, of which none had a 9 day vacancy or even vacancy for one or two nights, we opted to cut our losses and return home. In the end, we accepted their compensation, although it did not come close to the value of the nine days that were taken away from us so suddenly. This error was not due to anything we had done, but completely on the part of Coastline.
It is a great rv park, and we love the location. But we would advise anyone with reservations to proceed with caution before going there. Even with my checking with the office several times, including two days before our reservation began, I was assured and reassured that everything was in order, only to learn upon arrival and later during our stay, that nothing was in order. We ended up losing monetarily, as well as in our desire to return.
I worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, and this would never have happened to a hotel guest. I assume this RV resort doesn't operate under the same care guidelines for their clients' satisfaction, comfort, and well-being.

Beautiful campground right across the highway from the water! Rather windy during our stay, but still nice. Campground was immaculate, large sites, and easy access to local shops and restaurants. Cleanest bath houses we have seen.

Now for the reason for the low score.......you can reserve a specific site online. After reserving it you get a pop up saying to "lock in your site" it's an extra 25.00. So even though you picked a site for a particular reason it can be taken and you will be moved to another site???? Why bother with the reservation. For example we reserved site 20, but upon our arrival we were told we had "lost" that one to another visitor and were moved to site 22. The office staff were good about allowing us to move to a better site than 22, so we were actually OK with the site we received. But this process is a terrible greedy scam for an extra 25.00! When my wife complained about this process to the check in staff she was told that "oh, lots of campgrounds are doing it now". We have never encountered this "fee" to guarantee a site I have already selected and paid for!

Campground is great. Extra fee is ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. However, a lot of campgrounds are offering lock fees now. Some are $50 others are $35! The lock fee is a feature that our system has to allow us to maximize the full capacity of the Park. For example, if a guest wants a specific site for a month and their is someone in that site for just a few days that opted out of the lock fee, our system will move that guest to accommodate the guest who wants the specific site for the entire month and wants to lock in to be guaranteed that specific site. With the site lock feature, both guests are accommodated. Upon your arrival, you thought you had originally booked the West Park side, and were told at check in you actually had chosen site 20 on the East Park side and that the system had moved you into 22. Our office staff were able to accommodate you in a better site, at the West Park which is the side that you thought you had booked originally. Everything seemed fine when you left the office after checking in with us and you were happy with the site that we were able to put you in.

Coastline RV is one of the nicest RV campgrounds the wife and I have stayed at, and we have been RVing for nearly twelve years. We have been in many states and stayed at numerous campgrounds And Coastline is in the top 2% of the best we've experienced.

The restrooms/shower facilities are like something from a five star resort hotel. Beautiful, well groomed sites. Helpful and friendly staff. I would add additional stars to my review if I could.

We will be back to stay again.

This place looks brand new and even still under construction. When we booked we didn’t realize there is No BBQ! No fire pit! No pool! No water access! No biking trail! No walking trails! There were 4 full bathrooms well maintained. They had 2 washers and dryers but no access to quarters for them so we had to go on bike to the sister camp ground to get quarters. There is a restaurant almost on the property that was playing live music and had a nice outdoor area. The sites were very big and easy to back in. They have sprinklers that run at night so nothing can be left out or it gets soaked Including the RV as they are not adjusted properly. The town has nothing to do. You must cross the bridge to go do anything that is 10 miles away. We had a flat tire and they could not help they had no tools, we had service from Tallahassee (1.5hrs away)come to help as the town was closed over the weekend. In the future they seem to have plans for stuff but in the present it was quite boring.

So sorry for the misunderstanding on the amenities included. Looks like you stayed at our Sister Campground park. Which is under construction for the extra amenities like the swimming pool, clubhouse, etc. Our Resort park is where the pool, etc is located. The Premium sites are the ones that have the grills at them. Quarter machines were just installed in the laundry facilities this past weekend, Woohoo! We apologize about the sprinklers, I will pass this message on so the guys can check the adjustments of those out for us. So sorry you had a flat tire! We do not work on RVs, but do give out the contact information for those in the area who could help with those repairs. We hope they were able to assist you quickly! We would love to accommodate you again! Coastline Staff

Coastline has a resort side and a campground side. We stayed in the resort side which is more expensive and nicer but they’ve really fixed up the campground side over the past couple of years. The resort is an attractive park with hotel style bathrooms. Individual toilets and showers all of which are tiled. There is a small but very clean pool. The clubhouse has sofas and a full kitchen with a screened in porch with fans. It was hot so we had happy hour on the screened porch every night. Inside the clubhouse is a small basic gym. Music (good music) played outside and inside the bathrooms. Most all sites (even in the back) have at least a sliver of a view of the water. The sites are long and level with the dreaded white gravel. There is a brick patio with a separate parking area for the car. Spacing is decent with some sites having better spacing than others. There is no privacy. We were in the back so traffic noise was negligible but it would be distracting up closer to Highway 98. Directv worked fine as did the cable. There is a pier across busy Highway 98. Once you darted over, it was fun to watch people fishing and even see dolphins. The WII FI was disappointing. Sometimes it worked, most times it didn’t. The biggest problem are the water sprinkles. They run every night and leave water marks on the car and RV. There is no way to avoid them. To make matters worse, there isn’t any grass to speak of it’s mostly weeds or dirt. If these couple of negatives were fixed, it would make the price point more appealing.

Nice park, but if you don't pay them to lock in your site, you show up and the site we selected (even after calling to discuss the selected site) had what looked like an Airstream they rent out, as it had couches, a BBQ, etc. all in place. The occupant had no hitch on it's vehicle, and the trailer has no plates. We had selected this site as it had a good view of the Gulf, put us 2 rows back.
Yes, I understand you needed to pay to lock in your selection, but I've had an RV since 1975, and never had to pay Xtra if you were given a choice of sites. Just another way to nickel and dime people. Maybe they forget we have choices, we won't be staying there again.

We’ve been here several days and have many more to go to complete our month long stay. I cannot say enough good things about this park and about the positive customer service we have received. Everything…and I mean everything is clean and well maintained. We started in the East Park and moved West in order to get a month long reservation. Bath houses and pool area are spotless at both parks. The grounds are meticulously groomed. From our site we can look one direction and see the bay and the other way we see the pristine pool area. We weathered the winds and rain from Tropical Storm Fred while here and today we’re having some pouring Florida rain. The area is beautiful in all kinds of weather. We are SO glad we discovered this little piece of camping paradise!

We stayed last 2 weeks of February last year, temperatures were wonderful, warmer than January had been when we were further west along panhandle from there. If you enjoy fishing you can do that right across the street where a few people regularly fished while we were there. It's pretty centrally located for exploring different areas & we enjoyed the spacious sites, beautiful restrooms & laundry area. We checked out a few other campgrounds nearby & found this one far more appealing than the others where everyone seemed on top of each other. Would be a great place to relax in sunny Florida for a month!
