I love this place and I will return. I found it on google maps as I prefer to stay at privately owned motels instead of the corporate rooms. Everything was provided for us, more than I can list, great pool that was lit up I love the neon, the outdoor seating at my room, the amenities provided, bikes, coolers, etc. Sadly we only stayed one night on our way back to the airport, the owners were very accommodating as we just showed up. I could feel the Love they have put in to keep the charm of this place. The owners were very accommodating, sadly we only stayed one night I could definitely stayed longer
This is a cute, fun little place! It is immaculately clean! Our room was small compared to the big chain hotels, but so charming & perfectly adequate for what we needed,. The proprietors are friendly and full of great info on the town and area. Bikes and pool/beach towels are available to borrow. There is a bike/walking path right across the street. Easy to get to the cute and fun downtown and to Honeymoon Island State Park. It’s on our list for when we are next in the area!
We went to Dunedin for the Highland Games and decided to stay at the Palm Court Motel since it was a short walk to the park where they were held. We usually stay ina rather expensive place in town - but this will be our new go to place. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The room was cute and very clean, the water was hot, the shower was strong, and the bed was comfortable. GREAT !! Added bonus was the restaurant right next door and the trail across the street. The trolley also stops right out front. PERFECT !! Unfortunately, they are not pet friendly so for a longer stay we would need to either board our little 10 pound dog or hope that perhaps they would keep one room available as a pet friendly room. We stayed in room 104 ..
Stayed here about a month ago myself, Excellent location for my plans. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely returning with husband & currently checking with owner Anthony for availability!
While visiting the Tampa area to help my son and daughter-in-law move into their new home, I wanted to spend a few days in Dunedin. My wife located this cute, Old Florida style motel for me and made a reservation. She wasn't able to join me on this trip, so I was on my own. She made a great choice for me. This is a one story building. No stairs to climb or an elevator. The room was super clean and very comfy. Bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas are available too. It's close to the beach, downtown Dunedin and the Pinellas Trail. I enjoyed my stay so much that when we return, this will be our go to place for our stay. Thank you for such a cool "Old Florida Motel".
We enjoy our stay here staff was friendly place was clean everything was accessible and Pam the owner went over and above anything we could’ve expected to accommodate us. I hate to leave But we must head home. It’s close to everything that you would want to see here near Clearwater and we enjoyed our time on honeymoon Island
If you are looking for an “old Florida gem,” this is it! It reminded us of vacation stays from when my husband and I were kids! We were a family of 4 traveling and our room was a good size, very clean, had comfortable beds and futon in the living area, and a kitchenette. It is in a great location to get to all that Dunedin has to offer. Other amenities include - use of beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and travel coolers. Our host and owner, Anthony, was very nice and helpful in making recommendations for places in the area. We spent a day bike riding to breakfast at Benedicts and then to Honeymoon Beach State Park - both excellent recommendations. We didn’t swim but the pool looked nice too. During our stay, a film crew was at the motel taping for a trailer they were creating for an upcoming movie!…
From the time I checked in until the time that I left, I had total comfort. My room was immaculate! The room is very well appointed with refrigerator, coffee maker and other little treats. The gentleman that checked me in ( Anthony) was exceedingly pleasant and informative, despite my late check in. I will be staying here again and you should too.
While the room was clean, the location of it left something to be desired. Our room was on the back right next to a driveway leading from a nearby restaurant. Cars zoomed by until midnight, dogs barked all night long. Hard to get much sleep in that room. I would not choose to stay again for those reasons.
I have travelled most of my life (in my mid-60's now), often preferring independent, old-style hotels, and this is THE cleanest and best kept motel I've ever stayed at, regardless of cost. My wife and I stayed 5 nights. Perfect location between Honeymoon Is. and downtown Dunedin, across the street from the bike trail. All was clean - the room, towels, bedding, and even the FURNITURE, and FLOOR! Don't know about you, but everywhere else we stay, regardless of cost, the furniture and floor always seem to be sticky - not here! They provided everything you could want in an efficiency: portable heater and box fan (although the room was well A/Ced via the wall unit, which was remote controlled!); mid-size refrigerator (not those little dorm room boxes) with a real top freezer; microwave; stove/oven; the most fully stocked kitchen ever (even measuring spoons and cups); plus two chairs and table with candle outside the room. The property and pool were immaculate and pretty, with special lights on at night. They provided everything you'd want for the beach and activities including: beach towels; umbrellas; coolers; chairs; floats; bikes; bike locks; and even a park pass ($8/day value). And the staff was outstanding - attentive, pleasant, and helpful.…
