The clear waters and the white sand across from the resort were even more beautiful than people described. It reminded my husband and I of our visit to Punta Cana. The tri-colored water is breathtaking.

Very misleading! Light socket in bathroom doesn't work. The hot tub at the indoor/outdoor pool is nowhere near hot. There's supposed to be 7 pools but only 3 are within walking distance. We were under the impression we were getting a suite with a balcony,...More

I did see a couple of pop up tents, but I agree with the wind, it may not stay. The best thing to do is visit one of the many souvenir shops on Scenic Gulf Dr and purchase an umbrella. If I recall they were only $10 which is what you will pay for daily rental. Definitely worth it even if you can't take it with you when you leave.
