Stayed in room 11008 booked through Real Joy vacations bad experience! Room was dirty just surface cleaned. We checked into room and after 15 minutes of unpacking my feet were black. Floors were dirty and sticky! Behind toilet in master bathroom- tons of dust and dirt. Hair balls on bathroom floor. Thick amounts of dust on baseboards, refrigerator, bedroom headboards, and towel racks. The above toilet rack rusted on lower half. I would be embarrassed to charge almost $3000 and have this rusty rack in the master bathroom. Used cloth mask left inside of storage area of coffee table. This goes to show you that no deep cleaning is being done. Which is scary with Covid conditions. Pot holders had old food dried up on them, this is disgusting! How hard is it for cleaning personnel to wash these items. Yes, more issues! The refrigerator was not cold upon entering room so I gave it four hours after turning temperature on coldest setting and noticed it must have been broke. We had groceries including milk and meats that were not cold. I called Real Joy and they brought dry ice and regular ice until they could have someone out to service the fridge the next day. Someone did come to service the fridge on day two which was great. No further issues with refrigerator after this. On this day someone did leave us a $100 gift card for our inconveniences but really what is $100 when you are paying close to $3000? I contacted Real Joy and they felt that they sufficiently accommodated me by leaving a $100 gift card and giving me a 1 hour late checkout, which ended up being 11 am instead of 10 am. Would not recommend dealing with Real Joy or definitely not staying in condo 11008. Very poor customer service!

We choose this resort for a long weekend girls trip based on their lovely pool, proximity to the beach and shuttle to the boardwalk. Our condo as lovely and the pool was amazing. The common areas, lobby, and hallways were not maintained and dirty. Carpets were filthy, grounds are old and tired. The shuttle service ran to harbor area twice a day, morning and afternoon. We had read that it ran until 10pm and really wanted to use that to go to dinner. Do not use the public beach chair service. They pack you into a small roped off area of the beach as the other condos rent their beach chairs to guests only. The guys that rent the chairs are more interested in when it will rain so they can close early and go home then customer service. If any of these things matter to you choose something else.

Absolutely loved our stay. We were here on business my husband and I. We stayed in 21103 west tower pool and ocean view. It absolutely did not disappoint. View was perfect and just so relaxing. Room it self was very clean. Plain, you can tell they followed covid guidelines and everything was very meticulous in placement and cleanliness. Which was absolutely fine with us. Kitchen had everything you could ask for. Note for going during spring break book your car rental ahead. This posed a problem for us so we rented bicycles and Uber everywhere. Luckily this place is spot in the middle of everything. So harbor boardwalk and Miramar beach is only a 3 mile bike ride. Walmart and other stores were with in walking distance which was perfect. The resort offers in house food at the palms bistro, coffee shop and night entertainment. All places were completely reasonable price so you really if you desire do not even have to leave the resort. The beach is literally walking distance, right down Indian train open public beautiful beach. This unit did have a wagon which came in handy for us. We plan to go back to this resort this exact unit and loved the hands on presence compass resorts the property manager offered. Made our trips easy to navigate.

My GF and I booked last min to experience Destin for the first time. We choose the Palms based on its close walk to the ocean and awesome on site amenities. Needless to say The Palms exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back and visit. Did I mention the largest pool in all of Destin! Unreal, 5 star experience.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Palms in Destin. Everything was perfect including the pools, fitness center (larger than expected), hot tub, bar and location. It’s located 1/2 mile walk from the ocean and is not bad walking across the street. Press the button at the crosswalk! Room was great, modern and updated. The beach is white sand. Excellent location, even better price and great for a morning run, close to shopping including grocery stores. It doesn’t get any better!
