Given that hotel employees interacted with guests in terms of the front desk and serving directly the hot food for breakfast, there can be no excuse for exempting the housekeeping staff from cleaning the rooms: Covid 19 is not transmitted from furniture to host. Either way, arrangements could have been made for ensuring guests had vacated before housekeeping arrived. The housekeeping "goodie bags" found on the door bore no relationship to reality: no soap, no bath towels, no bathroom tissue, etc. All these had to go by special request. The front desk was hardly ever staffed: one had to shout out for someone to come out from a back area. This is no way to run a hotel, even in these troubling times.

Dear Jack K, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I apologize that we were unable to go into your room while you were here, but we are taking as many precautions as possible. Our housekeeping procedures were detailed to you upon arrival so that you were aware. The bags placed on your door in the morning contain both towels and toiletries. If these items were not in your bag than I'm not sure what they could have possibly contained? Any additional items that you needed should have been delivered to your room within minutes with a phone call to the front desk. Lastly, our front desk is staffed 24 hours with a desk associate. Once again, thank you for your valued feedback and we hope to serve you again whenever your travels bring you back to Delray Beach.

This was my 2nd straight stay at a Residence Inn and I must say I was pleasantly surprised (again). The room was large, spacious walk-in shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Also felt it was a really good value, especially given its location.

Stayed with my family for a weekend and it was a great experience. Employees work hard to make the guests feel safe. Wearing and enforcing masks at all times. Maintaining high traffic areas clean (we literally saw employees sanitizing surfaces). Their customer service was excellent and they even serve hot breakfast items! We have stayed in other properties in the west coast and Orlando where the breakfast was nothing compared to this hotel. Derric was very welcoming and provided useful details about the area. The prices are reasonable and the location was the perfect getaway. Beach is only two blocks away! Highly recommended!

I’m all for saving a dollar, BUT this place is so run down that in the lobby we saw a line of buckets to catch water from the leaking roof. We checked into our dingy little room and were disappointed by the desperate need to remodel. We unpacked, my husband couldn’t get the safe to work. He called downstairs- they would have to send the engineer. We were tired and the last thing we wanted was in have dinner in our room with their engineer. So we thought we would schedule that for the next day. As we were unpacking a car drove by playing really loud music. No special windows for a quiet room. I request a quiet room on a higher floor. I got a room on the strip five floors up. My husband called down and asked for a quiet room higher up. He was told there were no other rooms. I sat on the bed...this was the deal breaker. I sank in 3 inches and hit a brick wall. Horrible beds. My husband talked to the person at the desk and said we wanted to leave. We would lose our first night charge by leaving. So we ordered out dinner from a local restaurant and left the hotel soon after. I will be writing corporate and asking for a refund. We checked in across the street at Seagate. It was wonderful.

Dear winofoodtravel, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. First and foremost I would like to apologize for the appearance of the corner of our lobby when you arrived. Unfortunately we experienced a leak that morning and you were looking at what was the aftermath. Thankfully the following morning the issue was remedied and buckets were removed. I'm also sorry for your safe not working in your room upon arrival. Occasionally the batteries die and need to be replaced which typically only takes a minute. After reviewing your reservation it appears that we put you on the highest available floor. Had we had your room type on a higher floor we would have been more than happy to move you. The issues you experienced are not characteristic of our property and I apologize for that. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at (561) 276-7441

Our house in the area is on the market and with non-stop showings we needed to get away and so came here. It couldn't have been much better, the pool was open and going strong, great places to eat close by, a very comfortable room, and super friendly staff. We had a very nice time.
