What can I say. Third time and never a disappointment. Beautiful hotel staff is beyond great. I’m in the business so staff is what drives a business. This staff must be hand picked. From Colleen at the front desk. ( wonderful). Buck. /. Leslie At the beach club / Matt at the pool bar. Too many people to mention. House keeping is great The property is clean and crisp And goes beyond to accommodate There’s rarely a place that checks off all the Boxes. But the sea gate Does that. It checks the boxes. And Double checks them again If you want to go to a place and never want to leave. This is it Thank you. Can’t wait to return

Hotel's Favorite
Great Hotel with great amenities: we loved playing its own golf course and had lunch and dinner at their beach club. Hotel offers shuttle service to both. Apart from being able to eat outdoors at the hotel, there're many restaurants and shops within very short walking distance. Great coffee shop too.

The best experience ever! My daughter surprised me with a day to the spa. We were greeted by Zoe‘s smiling face. We were then brought back to change into our robes and slippers and was brought some wonderful Prosecco by Betty, who was so charming. I had the most amazing deep tissue massage by Dana, highly highly highly recommend she was amazing!! We then had Collagen facials. Joanie was absolutely amazing as well, highly recommend as well. My daughter also had an amazing experience as well. We went into the steam room, and took a leisurely shower. You can spend time at the pool and have a cocktail and order lunch. I did not want to leave! I highly highly recommend. The staff was absolutely amazing! My daughter and fiancé are going back for a couples massage! I also will be returning soon :)..

Hotel is very tired. It needs a complete redo. Rooms are clean, but old. The beach club is totally undersized for the number of guests who wish to use it. Good luck getting a seat at the pool or umbrella on the beach unless you arrive early. However, food at beach club is very good.

My fiance and I now married planned our wedding (9/17/21) in the area because we wanted to have a destination wedding without having to leave the USA. We tried to reserve rooms but was told by hotel that they didn't think we would have enough guest to be able to reserve 10 rooms. So we decided to just send hotel info out to family and have them decide. The rooms were a little pricy but the location was very nice. We arrived 9/15/21. We did not have our wedding on site. We thought the hotel was on the beach but it was not. We were married on the beach in nearby town. Hotel suggest we pay $15.00 to driver to use their transportation. We paid hotel staff/driver $20 directly to use hotel navigator to get to the destination that was two mile over their 3 mile limit. When we received our bill we were charged for the ride even though we paid. After wedding we wanted to use the bath with jets. Jets did not work. In order to use jets we needed to contact hotel staff and wait for staff to come and turn on jets through fuse box. It seem once jets are on they will not turn off until hotel staff turn if off through fuse box. I told the hotel that I was getting married. I assumed I would be in a room with bath jets working. They also did not have fridge available. We asked for use of fridge because we had cake top and did not want it to melt. We could not. In order to use fridge in a luxury hotel we needed to pay $25 per night for use if the fridge. We became upset and hotel manager suggested they hold it downstairs in their fridge until it was time for us to leave which would be in a few days. We agreed. 9/24 When we went downstairs to check out and retrieve our cake they could not find it. We had to leave because we did not want to miss our flight. The they said when they find it they would send to us. When we arrived to the airport or on the way to airport we received a call from hotel stating our cake was accidently thrown out. They tracked the hotel staff on camera coming to our room and leaving with the cake box. However, afterwards they don't know what happened to our cake. It was devastating to us. We think they knew the cake was not on site and waited for us to leave to give us the bad news. They offered to remove some parking fees which should not have been charged because we did not park on site everyday. They took a total of I think $300 or little more but part of the $300 was parking we were not responsible. We went back and forth a few weeks via email and telephone regarding what we wanted to be done to make it better. At the end they offer 1/2 price when we return to hotel. return when they have renovated the hotel because it need some repairs and updating. It was suggested we return after renovations. The renovation will be completed by winter 2021. We would return 2022. We do not intend to go back. They have ruined part of our 1 year anniversary celebration. We wanted our cake to be part of our celebration. Hopefully hotel has been renovated with available fridge for use and functional bath jets. Also hope their customer service improves!!!!

Very nice hotel well situated on Atlantic Ave walking distance to many great restaurants. Rooms are large and well appointed. The best feature is the beach club. Even though the resort was very busy, we never had to wait for more than a few minutes for a shuttle to the beach club or out to a restaurant. The room rate plus resort fee pushes the total cost higher than

Recently we stayed at this for a weekend visit with a friend. The property's website leads you to believe that it is on the beach when in fact only the Beach Club restaurant is on the beach. The wait staff -- with the exception on one -- were condescending and curt. The property is nicely appointed; however, we paid $800 a night for a room overlooking the parking lot. I would not return nor recommend

Booked a deluxe king room with balcony. Room was fine, even though balcony overlooked the busy main street. The joke here is "The Beach Club"....when the shuttle takes you there, you are treated like a second class citizen. It's obvious this is a private club for members and home owners and they don't want hotel guests. The very small pool is surrounded by lots of lounge chairs, which are "reserved" by members who put a book there then leave for the restaurant, the beach, etc.On the beach, the attendants act like they are doing you a favor to set up an umbrella or chair. Don't bother going to the beach or pool...this is a city hotel, nothing more. Enjoy the shopping and downtown dining. Its unfortunate that they include the "beach club" as an added amenity. If they lowered the hotel rates to reflect an in town hotel with a tiny on site pool it would give travelers an honest expectation. We have stayed at many preferred hotels, and Seagate does not deserve the designation

So the good part: The lobby and facilities on the main level are really well done and very pretty. Now the not so good part: For the money, the rooms are so small and weirdly laid out. Very narrow so you literally have no room for your luggage. It feels so claustrophobic for a luxury room, not to mention that my view was radiators from another building! Luxury, this was not luxurious at all! The beds were also so uncomfortable. I could never in good conscious recommend this hotel to anyone. Not to mention the beach club is down the street, which I didn't mind walking to, but even that was lackluster. The pool is so small and outdated and the water was freezing!! The food and wait staff made up for all its shortcomings which believe me there was too many to mention!!!
