Since the moment me and my friends got there we fall in love with the house, the old times vibe... Room number 4 was our room and we couldn't be more happy Super quiet room, comfortable beds, surprising but yet functional bathroom (The house is just five minutes walk away to the beautiful "Main Street"!!!!!!) Next morning surprise continued... Mark...

This review is overdue. My husband and I booked rooms for Stetson's Parent Orientation, and I forgot that my son wouldn't be moving into the dorm until the day after. Mark generously offered the front room for my son that first night after regaling us with tales of a ghost cat. Then after saving us the headache of trying to...

My wife and I were in the area for a wedding and stayed one night here. I echo what a few others have said regarding the outstanding service that Mark provides (we did not meet Vicki while we were there). Breakfast was delicious and the conversation very pleasant. I do not have much experience at B&Bs but I was very...

Mark and Vickie have run this place for nearly 15 years. They have an older son nearly in college, a big friendly dog and a wonderful cat named Shadow. The home was built in 1883 so much of the original doors and windows are in place for historic preservation purposes. They are what make this particular BnB so charming -...

MY wife and I stayed at this small bed and breakfast that is close to town and Stetson univ. ROOM was rustic but on the small side. Bathroom was very compact. BREAKFAST is the major plus as innkeeper prepares stuff fresh for you.

Was absolutely NOT what I expected. We did not get the room we booked. the explanation was the owner thought we would like the room with the bigger bath. It was terrible! Inside water damage on the back wall and floor. All the windows in the room had old flaking paint and I doubt they could be opened if you...

I don't normally respond to reviews. I do take notice of them and take each one to heart. Sometimes I wonder just exactly WHAT people DO expect from a 130+ year old house? The Deland Country Inn B&B is a private home and has been a B&B for 27 years, it is not your cookie cutter hotel or motel. I...

We spent one night night there when we needed to drop my daughter off at camp. The price was great. Breakfast was super! Mark was a perfect host. If you are looking for a high end B & B with an accessible interior common area and fresh baked cookies and tea served every afternoon, this is not that place. It...

Mark and Vicki are the nicest couple. This is a charming B&B in the tiny college town of Deland, Florida. Mark goes out of the way to make sure his guests have a comfortable, clean and affordable stay. The breakfasts are great and the location is an easy walk form the main strip. I would always recommend this spot to...

We booked 2 rooms as my mother in law was with us. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast order off the menu was terrific, and the hosts Mark & Vicki made us feel welcomed. Great location to downtown as you can walk to shops and rests. Good choice when staying in Deland.

This is a great old inn, run British style by the British couple who are the innkeepers. This is a traditional inn with great atmosphere and a wraparound porch where I enjoyed a bourbon and cigar. The breakfast was nothing less than magnificent. The innkeepers were delightful ! We shall return !
