Clean, beautiful hotel in a great location! The customer service was excellent and the view was amazing. The breakfast, room service and details this hotel offered were outstanding. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.
This is not like your typical hotel. If you want a party scene or lots of kid activities, this is not the place. It’s quiet. There are only 12 rooms in the whole place. It has the Relais & Chateau label, meaning it is very upscale, very adult, very quiet very elegant, and definitely not cheap. The rooms are very modern with technology everywhere (oddly, there was no Alexa nor Google Home). The pool is more of a hang-out spot with chest-high water and not a place to swim, but why would you want to swim in the pool anyway? The ocean is right there. I mean, every room has a private balcony looking at the ocean, and you only have to walk literally 100 yards and you’re in the water. The staff will set up your umbrella and beach chair at your request (towels and cooler if you want) and it is complimentary. Speaking of complimentary, nearly everything is. The fridge is filled each day with sparkling wine, white wine, Coca-Cola, and water. If you want any additional items, just use the pad by the bedside, the phone, or ask any staff and it is delivered. Turn down service each day but it has to be before 7PM as the guy that does that leaves at 7PM. Breakfast is complimentary, too, and it is really good. The restaurant is named The Chason and it is danged good. The Chef’s Tasting was excellent. The menu is, of course, seasonal and varied with whatever the chef decides to do but I was very impressed. There is a large wine menu that has something for all palates and for pairing with every dish. All of the staff were friendly and even knew my name. The only drawback I can see is the price may be out of range for some folks but it is a Relais & Chateau labeled hotel and, as such, you’re gonna pay that price. In my mind, it was worth every penny so as to not have to hear kids screaming, or 20-30 somethings who don’t understand that drinking is not an Olympic sport. Will certainly be back.…
I’m very happy to give anther 5 star review for my latest stay . The RBH is the place for a VIP experience, from check in to check out you are guaranteed to feel special. We were just stopping for a. cocktail on our way to our room and Shane was so gracious to help us out and had some very interesting conversation. My wife and I will be back again to enjoy the amazing room and fine dining. Thank you to everyone at RBH for an amazing stay and great memories
We had a wonderful experience at the Royal Blues hotel for a long weekend. We had a very early morning flight and arrived at the hotel before 10am, with no expectations of checking in, but while we ate a delicious breakfast at Chanson, they were able to prepare our room. We had a corner terrace with an amazing view. Everything was wonderful, and the complimentary mini-bar was a very nice surprise. With a quick call to the front desk or a few swipes on the tablet in the room, they will set up beach chairs and umbrellas with towels and provide complimentary water. It was so nice to not have to worry about traveling with beach chairs or umbrellas, just show up and you’re ready to go. A little beach table would have been nice, but that’s no big deal. The pool area was small but clean very nice and uncrowded. During our 4 day stay we only saw 2 other people use the pool. Dinner at Chanson was wonderful. Pricey but we splurged for my birthday. It was closed one night for a private party, and not open every night during the week so if you plan to eat there make sure it is open and available. There are plenty of restaurants are within easy walking distance for dinner. We tried a few but kept going back to Oceans234. Our balcony was huge and a great place to hang out during the rainstorms that moved through most days. It’s large enough you can stay dry and still enjoy the view. And with the corner terrace room you’ll only have neighbors on one side. It isn’t the largest room in the hotel, but we’d rather spend time outside than have a larger room with a couch inside. There are some reviews on TripAdvisor where people have complained about small things like the bathroom being dark (it is) or not having cream ready at the in-room coffee maker, but these are so trivial. Everyone at the hotel goes above and beyond. A simple call to the front desk and they would be more than happy to assist. Someone mentioned no service at the beach other than chairs and umbrellas, this is true, so don’t expect a waiter to come take a drink order, especially with signs everywhere that alcohol is not allowed on the beach. You’ll have to walk across the path to get back to the hotel, which takes all of 20 seconds. Yes the rooms can be pricey, but we felt like there was a lot of value by having included extras like free parking and wi-fi, a huge breakfast included every day, complimentary mini-bar re-stocked every day, complimentary water at the beach, and chair/towel service. All of these can add up at other hotels.…
We checked in late yesterday afternoon, to much of our disappointment the room was way smaller then pictures they appear online or described, a tiny bathroom can’t be in at same time. This wouldn’t be a problem if they had another mirror anywhere in the room. But no, can’t even see yourself get ready even the cheapest of hotel have that. The room looks tired needs some sprucing up. They boast all these amenities which we haven’t seen yet. Supper was great at restaurant Chason but breakfast was horrible. Would of been better going to Starbucks. Maybe this sounds weird to complain about but when you are paying $800 per night you want everything to be amazing and then some! So far it’s a waste of our money. We thought we were going to get a 5 star luxury experience but it’s more like a 2 star. Supposed to be service on the beach but nope just set chairs up for you then forget you exist. We have to keep calling down to get things like cream for our coffee. . It’s just beyond frustrating. It’s all these little touches that make a hotel worth being a Relais & Chateaux. Would not recommend this hotel unless it was the price of a Hilton. Location is good , beach is ok very crowded not a special section just for hotel. Many other things I could go on about but not even worth it at this point. Save your money it’s too late for us.…
What a hidden gem! We loved our stay at the Royal Blues for a belated birthday trip. Mike at the bar was fantastic (best espresso martini I’ve ever had!) and Chanson was incredible. The rooms, pool deck and overall service was second to none. We will definitely be back.
After a couple of weeks staying in multiple hotels from Brooklyn to Key West, we were pleasantly surprised by the amenities and service at this smaller boutique hotel. They did seem understaffed (as are so many hotels now) but the staff they have were so helpful and polite (even showing us the features of the room, including those high tech toilets). They couldn't figure out how to stream Netflix on our bedroom TV one night, but they sure tried! And they replaced a faulty coffee maker. No spa, but they found a place for my family to play tennis and for me to get a pedicure. We had two good breakfasts and a delicious outdoor dinner there, which was only briefly marred by a drive-by of a few proto-fascists in trucks flying enormous flags of that guy who lost in 2020. The beach was clean and we enjoyed our swim, also our walks along the beachfront. Our suite was beautiful and the living area, which had its own bathroom, a good size for our adult daughter. It would have been nice to have a door between the two rooms.…
Having stayed at five Relaise & Chateux Properties in Canada and the USA in the past twenty years, expectations were high that our recent three night stay at the Royal Blues Hotel would be exceptional. Sadly, there is little to say of a positive nature about our visit. To start, the hotel is vere hard to find when driving as is their parking area even with phone and vehicle GPS systems. While our room was comfortable and well stocked with complementary beverages, it was a tecnnological nightmare for a couple in their late 80's. In particular, the space-age toilet with no less than 14 buttons on a 4x6 inch wall panel to control its operation presented unique challenges.
Thank you to the friendly staff of The Royal Blues Hotel. They truly showed us the highest level of service and yet were fun and easy to talk to as well. The front desk staff made sure the room was up to our standards and even went as far as to fix the when something went wrong. The rooms were generous and very comfortable. We enjoyed one the larger suites which felt like a modern home, not a hotel. Definitely a relaxing weekend. The breakfast was also wonderful. We had breakfast included in our booking and every day we’re pleased by the food. Thank you to all of the staff, you really made the stay special.
We have been going to Deerfield Beach for 20 years. We started staying at Royal Blues in February because the Wyndham has just gone so far downhill it was a deterrent for us to go to Deerfield. We have just returned from our second stay at the hotel. Its is a very nice hotel and definitely the most upscale hotel in Deerfield Beach. The room we stayed in was quiet (all are ocean front and only 12 units total) and breakfast, parking *(which is very easy and right in back of the hotel) and beach chairs are included in the price. Breakfast is delicious and the staff is very accommodating. The only complaint we have is the mattress needs to be replaced (we did tell the manager in Feb) and it hasn't been replaced yet and we may not be able to return or will at least have to try another room since we stayed in the same room twice. It was so soft it hurt our backs. The other small issue is some of the sheets and towels had rips and need to be replaced. It's not typical of a hotel of this caliber to have ripped linens. The only other SMALL complaint would be the fact that they make their own preserves and if you don't happen to like that flavor they don't have other jellys/jams for breakfast so we now bring our own. It's a small thing but I think it would be a very easy thing for them to have other jams for people who don't like that flavor. I heard the restaurant is fabulous for dinner so we may have dinner there sometime.…
