If I could give this place a Zero, I would. There was no outdoor lighting around the perimeter, where your enter to access your room. There were some creepy people in the parking lot too. The entire hall way carpet leading the room had large black stains and large folds. The room was not clean and there is a large stain visible on the side the mattress. We saw a roach on the wall too. We were tired and checked in at midnight but just could not stay here. Went to the front office and asked for a full refund which they gave me. The security guard in the front office was not wearing a mask and was with in 6 ft of other people. When I mentioned this, the guard said he didn't have to wear a mask. I figured he was a lost cause, so didn't bother to respond to him. Them he started to may intimidating gestors toward me and my teenage daughter. What I saw at this hotel represents poor judgement on managements part and I expect they are not following proper sanitizing procedures to protect again COVID. That freaked me out more than anything. I realize hotels like this exist, but I expected more from LaQuinta. This is my first bad review of a hotel.…
Very clean. All of the staff(front desk, housekeeping and managers)is super friendly and helpful. Marrisa was very quick to accommodate and very nice.I know in the age of Covid hotels have a big responsibility in ensuing stepping up their cleaning and disinfecting routines and procedures. I felt comfortable with how they handled this situation. Will definitely come back.
I cannot rave enough about a few staff members at the La Quinta Inn!! First, Rob (the manager) is absolutely amazing! He graciously helped me track down a stolen IPhone!! Without his help, I do not know what I would do (side note, the IPhone was not stolen at the La Quinta). Second, the person who found it was a maid on the property. She went out of her way to help turn it in and find it in the most abstract place. These people are gems and I would recommend staying at this hotel for the mere service that these two employees provided to me today!!
we book for 4 days on Christmas Eve and a family emergency came up the next day and they wont refund the $$ for cancellation. The outside parking spaces were filty with empty food bags all over. There were no place in our receipt that will explain in case of cancelation and no one ever explained to us. We used to stay here other times but with this incident we wont any longer.
While we did not decide to stay here at this location we were met by the general manager Ashley who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome to Daytona! She was so helpful and understanding of our needs!
