Juat got back from a trip to daytona beach. Our stay at the mayan inn was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. the location of the hotel is one of the reasons we stayed there. The ocean deck restaurant is right next door, and the pier and boardwalk are just steps away. Many thanks to Toni for a clean...

My wife and I found this place on the web and reserved an Ocean Front King suite for a week, but checked out after 3 days due to unbearable conditions. In my humble opinion the only things the Mayan Inn has in it's favor is a good location close to the boardwalk and friendly front desk staff. The place appears...

I stayed here for a weekend, arriving late Friday. I found all the staff to be very friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious and the bed linen was clean. The bathroom was tired looking (peeling tub, shower head slow). Microwave didn't work but the receptionist heated our breakfast sandwiches for us. Great beach location. I think this hotel is...

The Mayan Inn has several options going for it. It is right on the beach and has a beautiful pool. However, it is also right next to the Ocean's Deck a hotspot party place. Music and bass can be heard (thump thump thump) until 2am. The motorcycles in the parking lot rev their engines for 10-20 minutes at a time....

Thank you for your recent stay with us, I am sorry we fell short of your expectations. Pest control is very serious to us, and we utilize a very reputable company to assist in prevention. I hope that you reported the issue to the front desk so that we may have our service provider address the area. Our lounge is...

We enjoyed the large room as we had 3 adults and a 2 yr old - even plenty of room for her pack and play. The hotel is next to a good restaurant and not a far walk from other restaurants on the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean.even though we didn't have a full...

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It was a total waste of money. The sheets smelt like urine. The shower head didn't work. We had to change rooms which was the complete same. There were poop stains on one of the pillows. The tv was mostly snow. It barely worked. The window seals had cob webs. I'll never stay here again.

I am so sorry to see that your experience was anything less than exceptional. This is not the kind of standards we opperate under, nor is it a common circumstance to experience. While our building is old and does show its age, cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us. I feel very strongly that if there were marks of...

The desk clerk keeps you talking while you check in and sticks you with an $8 hotel fee. Ask him about it and he just says its the tax. Once you discover it, too late. Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. The Mayan Inn Daytona leaves a lot to be desired. From the desk clerk who, even after pronouncing my last name for him 4 times still couldn't get it right, to the continental breakfast that didn't have milk for cereal or cream for my coffee, we had to look for reasons to stay. The tiki bartender was very knowledgeable and...
