Friends own 2 weeks here. They recommended we buy in too. Based on their recommendation, sight unseen, we did! And we are so happy with this place. Location is great for beach access… literally drive across the street and park our car on beach… paid sticker required. The condo itself is clean, stocked with everything you’ll need. We cooked in several nights. Grilled out one night on provided grills and ate outside under umbrella tables. Tiki hut offered seating for another group there. Outdoor pool, bathrooms, shuffleboard, basketball there too. In reading other reviews…. Be sure you’re reading reviews of this resort on Ruger Pl. which is a great condo. Other reviewers are giving bad reviews for this place but they chose the wrong location!!!!

Took a quick trip down to Florida to attend the Clearwater Sand Festival, but as it was our first trip to the Sand Festival we wanted to stay somewhere familiar and didn't mind the drive over to Clearwater (2.5 hours) so we stayed at the Daytona Resort & Club. We have a timeshare here so we knew it would be a nice clean place to stay. Front desk staff are always pleasant to work with and the units are large. We arrived late the first night (this was not our regularly scheduled week) and all instructions were completed quickly and we were in our room within minutes of arrival. There are always repeat guests during our stays and we have not heard any negative comments from anyone. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. This is not a mega unit building, but it is not meant to be; more of a family and repeat guests environment.

Hotel was extremely dated. Rooms don’t look like they’ve been renovated since the 1980’s. Pull out couch in the living room had a mattress that was about three inches thick, very uncomfortable. That being said, it was clean. Easy beach access and pool was nice. Pool had a few covered areas with tiki huts, so it was good in a spot rainstorm. Pool boasts a tiki bar, but no bartender this whole week. Would recommend this hotel to others for good location, but in good conscience I can’t due to the fact that it badly needs some love.

The Daytona Resort & Club is absolutely amazing. They have everything you need for a family get away and then some! The resort even has an area for families to leave pool and beach toys to share with other families. The condos are very large and extremely clean. Everything is well maintained and taken care of. Fully equipped kitchens. Large family outdoor entertainment area. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We have had many wonderful family vacations here. We visit as often as possible.

Time Share. Pros: Near plenty of activities including the beach, New Smyrna, Ormond, Speedway Good quality linens Comfortable beds (more on the pullout later) Adequately equipped
Cons: The pullout queen was not comfortable - we couldn't use it which was inconvenient The internet download speed did not allow us to watch apps programming (Netflix, Prime) and was even slow downloading pictures. Shabby building - really needs some spiffing up Second bathroom tub needed to be cleaned before we used it.
We didn't use the pool or other outside amenities due to the weather but they appeared fine. Overall, the property was fine considering we used it for sleeping

We were very happy with our week here. Requested an upper floor with a view and that's what we were given. It's across the street from the beach but there is a traffic light and crosswalks, so it's easy to get there. Rooms were very clean and totally furnished.

I have been at Daytona beach many times differents nice hotels. This hotel is terrible. the whole hotel needs a remodelaciĂłn inside (rooms the mattress old dirty, no utensils for the kitchen, the carpet dirty and old, the microwave rusty) and outside no nice either. The only good thing is front desk people I never will be back at this property

This hotel has everything, and when I say that I am serious. The hotel literally thought of everything a guest would need and had it available. Customer service was great, all staff was very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The view to the beach is awesome! Pool area had the pool and hot tub along with a fire going and an outside bar. Perfect for a nightly swim. Will be visting and staying here in the future.

2BR/2BA. Has living room/dining area, small kitchen. Master bath was so small you could barely move around. There were enough large closets in the place, almost big enough for a bedroom. Should take some of the closet room and make a larger master bath. Hard to get a hot shower all the way through.
I've been a timeshare owner for over 20 years and have never seen a place like this. it's hard to believe that Interval International considers this a timeshare. It was clean and had everything we needed in it, but it is very dated, right out of the 70's. I'm used to the luxury provided by being a timeshare owner and this place was very disappointing. Resort? I don't think so.
Most timeshares will have a mid-week maid service. Daytona Resort & Club has none. The ultimate insult to a timeshare owner is the club's requirement that you must strip all the beds and place them in the laundry basket along with all towels, etc. In addition, they require that you take out the garbage and recyclables as well as run the dishwasher before you leave; and if you don't do the above, they are going to charge you for it. Really? You can go to a Motel 6 and they'll take care of this for you. Never have I heard of such a thing.
If you're used to a Motel 6 or Super 8, this may be okay for you, but it just wasn't what we were expecting having spent many timeshare vacations.
