Oceanwalk is a great clean hotel, but booked a Oceanview room, got city view, but can live with that, my review is about the employee's and maybe locals at stores, or maybe visiting, but everyone is so rude here, I swear it seems like no one is happy and everyone is grumpy! Coming from the south thats disheartening. Regardless we will have a blast, and no worries, but geez, it must suck to be that way, no way to live!!

RCI two week exchange in a 2 BR unit. Unit was clean, spacious and updated. Side unit had a view of the ocean and other side was view of the city with spectacular sunset views. 4 of the speediest elevators for a 25 story building. Quick response when ordering more supplies for unit. Fantastic location on the beach/boardwalk. Felt safe walking alone on the beach before dawn. Great outdoor pool area with 2 pools, kids pool, snake slide, hot tubs, lazy river, bar. Nice uncrowded fitness center. Low pressure to attend the sales presentation. will return.

I went there with my boyfriend and was very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the place was I thoroughly enjoyed the Lazy River and the water slide and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room

Stayed here for a week, great location, wright on the beach, extensive and good facilities, overall clean and well equipped. Be cautious about the request for a sales presentation, though they were good about us opting out.

very nice resort ..we were in a two bedroom south side suite with a balcony with all day sun ..if we werent in the mood we could just sit on the balcony and look at the ocean ..the room was well outfitted ..bed was comfortable ..check in and out was very easy with very nice staff ..we did a timeshare meeting all of the agents were polite and not pushy that was a big plus ...we would return in a heart beat

Our stay was great since the Sun and temperature was lovely for mid January. The beach , although going through the hurricanes and having all the loose sand washed away, still provided a wonderful place to go for long walks. Ocean Walk provides a great, close access to the beach. The pools, although cool, were fantastic to enjoy a relaxing swim. We were surprised and disappointed that dogs were allowed in the rooms and hallways and provided a wet doggy odour to elevators and hallways. Staying for more than one week also proved challenging since we had to move out of one room and were required to switch rooms and move back into another room. All in all ocean walk in Daytona Beach was enjoyable.

This was a spur of the moment anniversary trip for my husband and I for the long weekend. We were staying as guests via my mother in law’s wyndham timeshare points. The check-in process was less than desirable after traveling alllll day. You start at one desk to check in, then you’re sent to a different desk to get keycards (and haggled to attend meetings in return for free meals). Then, you’re sent to a 3rd desk for the parking pass. It really rubbed us the wrong way. We were there to relax and enjoy ourselves - we weren’t even the timeshare owners. We were her guests. These sales reps were just doing their job - but, the general manager really needs to rethink this process. It’s icky and sets off the wrong first impression. Many guests have traveled all day and it’s the last thing they want to face when they arrive in the lobby - being required to visit 3 separate desks to gain access to their room. The only unit available at our time of booking was the 1 bedroom suite that faces an indoor internal hallway. The room was clean. It felt weird not having a window that looked outside. I sometimes had the thought “what if there is a fire”, but figured they wouldn’t allow this type of unit , if it wasn’t legal and safe. We really didn’t stay in the room much, other than to sleep. It was nice to have a kitchen to store snacks and food. And, it was stocked with all essentials needed for a kitchen to function, I was impressed how they utilized the small space for a kitchen. The hotel itself has a nice pool and lazy river. It was too cold during our stay to use them. The indoor pool was being utilized by many guests during our stay. It was a nice perk, given the cold temps outdoors. The bar at the pool and the restaurant and bar in lobby looked nice; we never ordered food or drinks at the hotel, but everything looked good! To sum it up - if you get a 1 bedroom that’s internal-facing with no external windows - it’s okay if you aren’t there all day. Personally, we would’ve felt claustrophobic if we stayed in there all day. But, it was fine for having a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the water pressure was great!…

Ocean Walk is super. The resort was super clean and from our unit we had a sunny ocean and town view. We were on the 17th floor. The 2bdrm unit was a great size and was .clean. Staff was friendly and activities everyday. We had a very relaxing stay before all the action.

This was our second visit to this resort, we were placed in the South Tower this trip which is beginning to show wear & tear in common areas, halls, elevator areas. Our unit was clean on arrival, missing a few essential items which were quickly sent up once requested. We love the pools, slide, and lazy river at this resort, slide was open a few days the weather cooperated with us & our boys enjoyed using it. We appreciated the newly built beach access staircase & ramp as many other hotels did not yet have them. South Tower hot tub is a great temperature but jets do not work & it's rather strange the North & South sides of the resort close at different times. We appreciated the poolside bar but would appreciate happy hour specials, the nightly entertainment was interesting but there is very little seating, which is odd.
