Daytona Grande is an excellent place but needs many improvements for the prices that they are charging. We were told that supplies were on backorder for various amenities, such as having no ice machines on any floors. There were only three luggage carts, and there was no one available to help with luggage or much of anything. There were not any instructions given about these things not being readily available before making any reservations. The rooms were clean upon arrival, but throughout the trip, someone would enter our room, but did not clean the entire room, but maybe make one bed, but not the other without changing the sheets on the bed. The heat was not working in the first room, but they did switch us to another room. The valet was short-staffed and had to run across the street to retrieve your vehicle. The showers could use some help; they need to add some sitting in the bedrooms, mirrors other than in the bathroom are required. It would have been nice to have at least two sinks in the larger room, and more sitting in the living area to better accommodate the needed people in the room, but overall it was a decent trip. I would possibly visit again; the staff was amicable and accomodating.

I had to come to this hotel because of hurricane Milton I was at another hotel and they shut down the hard Rock because I didn't think they could sustain in safely keep guests there during what was thought to be a category 5 hurricane coming. The hotel Daytona grande was very kind excepted me with much friendliness and assistance as I was alone a paraplegic in a wheelchair with my three service dogs. Very beautiful hotel they took care of everyone during the hurricane they even had the restaurant open right through the hurricane so people could get food when everything else was closed The rooms are amazing I've never stayed in a hotel was such amazing rooms it's like a glorified studio apartment very big comfortable clean and their handicap rooms are very functional. They help me make the door that was heavy accessible for me so I could open it on my own. Service was very good beautiful views from the windows etc take care of their hotel very well I think it probably was one of the few only places that electric did not go out during the hurricane felt very safe there have had to stay after the hurricane until my condo gets power and a roof collapsed on her floor and is being fixed should be able to get back home very soon but what a place to be able to stay while I'm waiting. I would definitely recommend a hotel to anybody who travels here or needs a hotel in Daytona The rates are very good for a high quality hotel I have been to other hotels in other areas that are no where near is wonderful is this hotel but much more expensive. Even the restaurant is amazing I love eating organic food and they have organic salad that really was a high point for me also I had it three times while here. The only thing I wish would have been possible is a new charger resort fee and they have pool lifts and I really wanted to use the pool when they opened up there will pull in pool and Thursday afternoon after the hurricane and both pool lifts for the Whirlpool and Paul batteries would not work so I haven't been able to use the pool the whole time I've been here which I wish could have been resolved But they were very kind about it I was told I wouldn't be charged a resort fee for the days I couldn't use the pools when other people were able to Very professional staff very kind always interested in accommodating their guests but definitely stay here again if I had to I live in Daytona Beach and was here due to the hurricane but if there was ever another hurricane or other reason why I had to come to a hotel in Daytona I would definitely choose this one over any other and highly recommend it to anybody traveling You won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience. Everyone from valet to the front desk, housekeeping and pool staff was great. Everyone smiled, was pleasant and very helpful. We selected valet when we initially arrived but changed over to self park the next day. We enjoyed room service one night and ordered DoorDash the other nights. The room was very spacious, clean and offered an amazing view every single day. Even the rainy moments was beautiful. 2 nice size tv’s and a bathroom the size of some hotel rooms. The shower took some time for me to become accustomed to. There is no door to the shower so the pressure from the shower head is very soft/light. I was even impressed of the great customer service as we were leaving. Valet was so helpful and assisted us with our baggage. Matt Erin, thank you sir. Matt and the team was amazing. This was an wedding anniversary getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Your website truly doesn’t give you all true justice of the beauty and size of the rooms.

Hubby and I stayed two nights and despite multiple conversations with hotel managers (2) we did not feel valued as their customers.
When we splurge on a hotel room at the rate of $300 plus a night we have high expectations. The property is beautiful but we picked a wrong weekend as the hotel was mostly empty except for the hundred of Amway members staying at this hotel for their annual convention, The pool and especially the hot tub were over crowded and the gym was closed (per the elevator signs) all weekend - not worth the extra resort fee! When booking this hotel the best advice is make sure there are no conventions happening and do not book on a holiday weekend.
The three bartenders we got to know - Amy, Johna and Emily were the best we had in Daytona! They totally made up for a lack of empathy we received from the managers.

We used Valet parking for $17/ night which was convenient. Upon entering the hotel it looks amazing. Once checking in we’re told there is no ice machine on any of the 27 floors and if you want ice you have to take a small plastic bucket to the bar to get Ice. ( thankfully there is a 7/11 across the street) There is also only one working elevator so everyone was crammed in like pigs going to a slaughter house. Upon entering our room the room was extremely hot with the ac off... we went to open the blinds and there was a drone recording in our window which was probably not the fault of the hotel but we could enjoy the view because of it... ( probably some kid from a neighboring room or hotel) than we watched the drone go to look in another room when we went outside in the morning to watch the sunrise all you could smell was someone smoking marijuana. There is NO room service as advertised on the website. There is NO pool bar as advertised on their website. There is no hair dryers in the rooms as advertised on the website. The room had dark hair all over the bathroom and dust built up on the shower. The pillows were not comfortable at all and practically laid flat against the bed. furniture is cheap, chintzy ikea like furniture. Hotel has a lot of potential if they can get their act together. Basically you’re not going to get what is paid for... if you’re a local and only looking for a couple days away than stay away from this place. If low staffing is an issue that they can’t provide the advertised amenities than they shouldn’t be advertised.

Very new and clean. Very friendly staff - notable were Dillon and the young black man who worked the valet. We will go back again.
The room we had was great, the pool is nice. The pool bar is not open but a bar is only steps away and staff deliver food and beverages to you at the pool.
Great big TV in the room and fast internet all over the property and at the pool. There is a 7-11 and an IHOP right across the street. A/C is good and cold in the room.
There are about 25 floors at this hotel.
There is construction ongoing but it never bothered us in the least.
Valet parking is $30/night - $10 self parking is available too.
There is a decent continental breakfast.
Elevators are fast, hardly no wait at all.
You will not regret staying here.

I stayed at the Daytona Grande Hotel for a couple of nights while on a short Florida getaway. The room was nice, I had good views of both the ocean and intracoastal and could sit out on the balcony comfortably, but I have to say it was rather stark to me, just a personal viewpoint. There was a very colorful picture above the bed to give it a pop of warmth. My room was clean and maid service snuck in while I walked on the beach my first morning which was a nice surprise. I did tease the front desk staff when I checked out that I thought it was odd to not have any hotel materials available, menus for room service, area highlights, memo pads, a pen, etc. in the room. I was told they were working on it. The pool area was a very nice spot to sit outside and relax, I really enjoyed Carly at the bar there who made me a tasty strawberry margarita and I also had an excellent burger. Except why was there an additional fee on top of the drink and food called "lobby bar lunch service charge"? Not to mention the Resort Fee. A bit much, sorry. All the staff I encountered were great and a big thanks to Mike at the front desk for hooking me up with a good reliable taxi driver to get me to my next destination. I prefer a more inviting, warm hotel, so while this was a decent stay, I probably wouldn't return just since it's not my style.

We stayed at the Daytona Grande during Bike Week for our anniversary, and I have to say this is the best place in Daytona we've ever stayed at. The parking attendants Porsche and Damion were absolutely amazing!! We never had to worry about finding parking. The room was beautiful and clean with the perfect balcony to relax on. The restaurant had amazing food with an amazing view. We will definitely be back!!!

Andre welcomed us with a smile as did every member of team from the cleaning staff to the chefs. They each were attentive to requests by responding quickly. They accommodated apraxia’s requests with kindness and professionalism. There was a variety of delicious breakfast food on the Buffett. The fresh omelet station was manned with a quick, cheerful and skillful chef that created a flavorful fluffy omelet in what felt like seconds! The Buffett was manned by an attentive Jamaican man (Gabriel?) that made me feel like I was on his island as his beautiful accent greeted guests while he kept the Buffett refreshed and full. The sea themed decor is relaxing and the location allowed us to gaze at the ocean while we dined. When we left, we were full yet looking forward to returning for lunch or dinner….maybe both!!!

There is a nice bar in the lobby and a liquor store across the street. A couple blocks south there are several more, and a huge Eat at Joe’s seafood restaurant and bar on the pier.
There are more places to choose from in the Daytona Beach area.
