We stay at Hampton Inns all the time this one looked nice from the outside! That and the gentleman that checked us in were the only nice things about this place!! Old, small rooms, very small bathroom. It was late or I would of demanded a refund!! Walk in the room and no lampshade on the lamp!! Bathroom floor had not been mopped, it had spots of something on it and to top off the stay the pillows were terrible!! I recently threw away flat pillows that weren’t as flat as those four were!!! Once again it was late and we were tired and didn’t want to deal with it!! Totally shocked Hampton Inn allows this place to carry its name!! Needless to say we didn’t get the rest we were hoping for after a long day!!!
Came through here on the way to a cruise. While I think most Hampton's are generally the same, this one seemed to be like an old days inn redone. It had a low hanging ceiling, and just seemed a little below the Hampton Standard. Now, for the good part...the service was amazing. We entered and were greeted by a lovely gentleman. When we arrived to the room we realized we needed more pillows, so my husband offered to go downstairs and get them, but they said they would bring them to us. Literally within 5 minutes we had the pillows. We travel often, and this is not the normal, instead, you usually have to go to the front desk and get them. Would I stay here again? Probably not, but I wish I could take the customer service to other hotels that are a little "better".
I was apprehensive to book when I saw a couple of bad reviews. I am glad I looked at most of the positive reviews and booked. The staff was friendly. The hotel looked practically new. Carpet was clean and looked new. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was very, very good. Can’t go wrong with this hotel. I would stay here again.
Initially I thought this was a pretty nice hotel. I selected my hotel room online but it wasn’t available when I got there. He said he had no record of it. My brother stayed as well (different room) and the same thing happened to him. First time this has ever happened with a Hilton. Not the end of the world. Just seemed unorganized. The room: Everything seemed clean and the pillows and bed were comfy. The first night I slept really well, however I did wake up to the mini fridge making strange noises. It was about 10 minutes before my alarm was about to go off so I wasn’t too irritated. However the second night, around 1am, the AC unit was making nonstop pinging noises. This woke me up. It was so loud I recorded it. I contemplated calling the front desk but realistically what were they going to do at 1am? So fortunately I had headphones with a sleep music app and I was able to get back to sleep. I have no idea how long it lasted. I know I did not sleep as well as the first night but the sound was no longer pinging when I woke up in the morning. The bathroom shower and toilet had very little pressure. The ceiling of the bathroom was rusted and peeling. Conveniently 6 1/2 feet up on the wall, close to the ceiling, is a sticker that says you will not get room service unless you stay more than five nights. I did not see the “sign” until the last day when I was wondering why they never took out my trash or swapped my towels. If you have more than one person staying in the room you will need to request that. The free Hilton breakfast was good, same as always. The location is right next-door to the Daytona speedway. There is a hooligans bar/restaurant in the same parking lot. Overall I would attempt this hotel again. I’ve reserved my room six months ago for Jeep Beach, when the prices were still affordable. I’m just really glad I did not pay the increased price by waiting last minute.…
This is an Awesome hotel. Location perfect. Found a new favorite restaurant nearby. The food was great. It was a place to relax and entertain our friends. The staff was perfect. I would suggest popcorn as a part of room service.
Let me begin by saying, I am a loyal customer of Marriott and decided to try Hampton Inn. It was close to ERAU and gave a nice discount for the college. The positives for this property was the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I needed to check out early and they were nice enough to not charge me the last day. The lobby was nice, as was the breakfast. The linens and mattresses were clean and comfortable as well. What I did not care for, and this may be petty, was the lack of care for the property itself and decor. There was rust stains in the bathroom everywhere. The light in the bathroom was severely corroded. The lampshade had holes in it. The moulding was falling off along with the carpet frayed where it met the tile. I had some down time and wanted to lay by the pool. There were 3lounge chairs. One was occupied and the other 2 had holes and couldn’t be used. The hotel was pumped with air freshener, which lead me to think it was disgusting a smell. I may, if I had absolutely no choice, stay again. But in the meantime, I will pass. If you need a one night stay it works. If you need more than one night, your choice.…
Great location! Just a short drive to the beach and a shorter walk to the Speedway. Plenty of parking, restaurants next door and across the street, and neat clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Had water pressure issues and the bed was not supported by a box spring or platform. Very uncomfortable. Reported both issues to the front desk and neither was resolved. The price for the room was higher than anticipated compared to other options.
Great location, fabulous rates and close to offices. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean. I stay here biweekly and can walk to the restaurant next door. There is also a Target down the streets and many many restaurants. This hotel is very close to International Speedway Stadium.
We were moving and grew tired. We decided to stop in and check availability. From check in to check out the team was great. The room was clean and cool. The continental breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed the omelets. The food was fresh and hot. We will be visiting again soon.
