My party came from Virginia having essentially traveled throughout the night arriving in Orlando very early in the morning. I selected this Omni over options in Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte and other locations because I had an expiring local experience and this combined with another attraction nearby led us here. We were exhausted when we arrived and were pleasantly greeted by Marcelle. She was fantastic, friendly and accommodating and was able to get us into our room early. After traveling through the night, her 'can do' spirit was awesome and set the tone for a truly special stay. We swam, ate, played the short course (local experience) and in general everything was excellent. The burger for lunch poolside exceeded expectations and the bartenders/servers at croc’s were equally excellent- professional, friendly, timely and engaging. There was some confusion between the front desk, the towel hut and the bar for the local experience, but they ironed it out. (The liaison for local experiences must have left their position by the way it was discussed). Lastly, at checkout Tim was just as fabulous as Marcelle if not more so. Very professional and helpful. I had a quick question about my bill and he quickly addressed and in a helpful, professional manner. But what really was impressive and where I felt cared for is hours later as we were departing after one last dip in the lazy river, as we were headed up the back stairs towards the lobby, he hurriedly went up the other side of the stairs to beat us to the door so he could hold it open for us and greeted me by name, though it had been hours since I had checked out. This event alone begs me to return with my entire family for multiple days. Thank you Tim, Marcelle and the staff at crocs who were the highlight of an excellent quick trip to Orlando. Having stayed relatively recently at Jacksonville and Atlanta and considered Omnis in Richmond, and Charlotte, clearly Orlando is the top notch location and worth the hassle of traveling from Va for a quick 48+ hour visit. Thanks I look forward to returning.

Hotel's Favorite
3 friends and myself stayed here for 3 nights on a golf trip the last week of January 2021 and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hotel: The staff were more than accommodating, and were happy to help with any requests we had. The hotel had plenty of amenities with multiple restaurants on site (several were closed due to covid). The hotel offers a swimming pool, lazy river, wave pull, mini golf, and even a lighted par 3 course. Golf: we played both courses (National and International) 2 times each over the weekend and both courses were in phenomenal shape. All the greens except two were in perfect condition. Both were a short walk (or shuttle) away from the hotel. Again, the staff was great, with the starters and marshals being more than friendly. An overall great experience and a great retreat to warmer weather during the colder months further North.

This was our 4th stay at Championsgate. I like that this hotel is away from the crowded madness of the attractions area. The property is very well maintained and very beautiful. The hotel itself was spotless as was our room. The beds were very comfortable. The linens plentiful. I made a few special requests for my room when I made my reservation and all requests were accommodated as I checked in. I always schedule a few extra days at this hotel, especially if we are doing the exhausting theme park thing. I enjoy the wave pool, the slide and the lazy river. The entire pool area is filled with little nooks, with comfortable padded lounge chairs & umbrellas, that offer peace to relax. The pool decks were always quickly cleaned, especially after food is eaten - keeps pesky birds away! We always enjoy the food and cocktails at Croc's, the poolside restaurant. The hotel convenience store sold S'Mores packages to use with the outdoor fireplace, YUM!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet: hotel location is not in theme park madness. I like the west golf...

Wow!!! We had such a great time! The pool area in this resort is amazing! Our second favorite in Orlando after the four seasons resort. All pools are heated! The wave pool was so fun! Rooms were renovated(yay) except the balcony furniture(very moldy)Service was super friendly! Due to covid we couldn’t experience a full service but It was good enough ! Mini golf was so fun! We will definitely be back ! Only one complaint we had was the housekeeping...sooo annoying knocking on our door so early in the morning while we were still asleep and if you don’t answer right away the door they try to come in.There is not door signs available to hang outside your door.So they kept coming back grrrr...and that after the alarm o’ clock went off at 5 am ...I just wanted to sleep late for a change and that was almost mission impossible! That gotta be fixed.Anyways the resort is great for kids and adults. It’s relaxing and very welcoming. It was very clean! easy to social distance ! Paradise in these challenging times we are living!
