Even though they only have two showers, I have never had to wait for one. They have free cable tv and loads of entertainment (twice a week, occasionally three times and a jam session maybe once a week. There is a small store and deli up the road about 4 or 5 miles. Plenty of things to do in the area (biking, kayaking, shopping, events and sightseeing. Wonderful church service on Sunday

We asked for a specific site, which was confirmed in the email we received after we paid. When we arrived, they put us on an undesirable site and basically said...too bad...so sad..we are not site specific! This is not the first time we have had trouble with the office staff. Last year when we extended our stay, they couldn't find it and wanted us to leave!

Stayed as a RV camper (full hook up) for a week during the low season (May) and had a really good stay using the Passport of America membership discount. The small golf course ($6 unlimited walking during low season), pool/hot tub, WIFI, fitness room (somewhat outdated equip) was made available and a nice perk, plenty of room to bike safely, walk, run. Very quiet and serene area. The only drawback is the area is in a rural part of FL where you have to drive 15-20 minutes to get to the grocery and other stores.

We chose this RV park (We have a pickup and a small hard top/sided camper trailer) because friends of our were here for the entire winter season. The facility is out in a rural area but is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is extremely helpful and all of the facilities are very well maintained, i.e. pool, tennis courts, etc. There are meeting halls where resident volunteers organize games and music. Although we were parked right next to other RV's we didn't feel hemmed in. The only negative items that we encountered and which prevented us from giving this place 5 stars are as follows: There are only 4 showers available (2 for men and 2 for women) in the entire facility. Apparently, because everyone has a self contained unit they expect folks to shower in them. We don't have a bathroom in our trailer so it was a small problem. Another problem is that they close all of the bathrooms from 6:30 AM until 8:00 AM for cleaning. This is a terrible time and should be later. And finally they do not have a camp store so you have to go into town which is a considerable distance away. They do have ice for $1.00 a bag. They do broadcast WIFI to all of the sites.…

We camped on the Hill, or Golf View. The sites are wide open, no trees, but are good size. No problem with satellite reception. The view from the back row or the end of each row are great. View if the ponds, trees, and golf course fairways, Golf, Shuffle Board, Biking, Pool, Hot Tub to name a few.If you are a reader this is the place as the library is a mini library with tons of books are categorized. Nice reception hall and awesome bathhouse.

We have stayed twice, once in Dec 2017 and June 2018. The staff is wonderful, friendly and available. They go out of their way to make our stay the best it can be. We love the that there is a lot to do - swimming, basketball, fishing, ride bikes, relaxing! They also have a golf course, shuffleboard and lots of social activities. They are upgrading their RV/Trailer overnight and short term section with concrete pads for each site with electric/water/sewer all together on one side. (Originally set up for Air Stream with the sewer on the opposite side). Lots of room to maneuver to park even the biggest of RVs. Definitely coming back!!

Pulled in for three days with a forty foot coach. Existing spots for those only staying a few nights are few and maneuvering is very tight. People staying there were friendly. Another time we will look for an RV Park with better options for our size of RV. There was no wifi except at the rec centre as they were in the middle of an upgrade.

We were for a day visit here today with people that we knew back in Canada and use to work with. This RV trailer park is in the middle of no where but is well maintained. 80% is 55 years plus and 20% is under 55 years of age so that it can promote itself as a RV trailer park. It has so many organized activities and groups that you can be as busy as you want to be. People are friendly and resident organize a lot of street socials. Has a golf course, swimming pool, rec. hall, eatery and exercise room. If fact, it even has a fire/ambulance station on site which is considered part of the county first responders service. Several former nurses and firefighters have also signed up to make themselves available to answer emergency calls as needed. A lot of snowbird Canadians in this park as well.…

We've been here just over 2 months of a 13 month stay. Everything here is very nice, clean, well maintained. It's really nice to see people taking pride in a property and keeping it in top shape. Management and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful and available. Other guests and residents have been welcoming. We are very happy with our choice to stay a while at Travelers Rest.

We came on the recommendation of friends. Reserved for one month - within two weeks we had decided we never wanted to leave. The grounds are beautiful, the residents friendly, even our dogs love it. There is so much to do we had to take a break from activities to go buy food! Excellent professional entertainment twice weekly, golf, wood shop, tennis, bocce, garden club, cards, dominoes, a motorcycle club, birding group, rc boats and cars, fishing, the list goes on and on. It is a quiet, serene, safe place in the country with lots of wildlife. We stayed from Jan until April, will be back in the fall. Livin' the dream!
