Nice little tiki bar along the water where pelicans follow the path of the river. Many quaint activities if you want something to do. Rooms could be updated, but get outside and enjoy. You can walk to the marina at the end of the property and take a tour or rent SUPs or kayaks.

This was our second time staying here. We go to swim and watch the manatees in the winter.

The buildings and rooms are a little dated but they are putting a lot of upgrades in. The overall room is nice and fairly spacious. The bathroom is tight though. The carpets in the hallwa

Just there overnight for Manatee trip... Huge room with not a lot of furniture, a carpet that was not too clean; old brown varnished furniture; poor lighting; adequate bedding but not very comfortable. Nose for other rooms was an issue - and not just next door either. The place l

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey, we appreciate your feedback. We have begun several renovation projects throughout the resort starting with the ground floor rooms getting patios, the new wood floors, the wonderful new outdoor seating area for the West 82 Grill, the fun new sports bar theme for the 19th Hole Pro bar, we just installed new RFI door locks on all our guest rooms, as well as a convenient new towel dispensing machine on the pool deck. Plus there are still many more fantastic plans still in store for our beloved resort, such as new furniture in the guest rooms, updated flooring in the common areas, and hopefully microwaves in all the guest rooms as well! I will share the information you provided with our design team, thank you for your patronage and we look forward to providing you with superior service and accommodations! Though we were only here for 2 nights for a long weekend fishing trip, this seemed like a very nice place with lots to do, though we did not get to experience everything they ad to offer. The rooms were nice and clean and seemed reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here a

I have stayed at the Plantation many times but this time was the pits. I don't think they had recovered from Hurricane Irma. The elevator was musty and smelled bad. They really need to upgrade this property or it will fail. On the bright side the food was great and we receive

Does the resort offer laundry services?
Yes but did not use it. Think it was in a common area

Through the hotel I see they offer manatee tours, do they also have scallop dive tours or would I need to go to an outside source? Also can you swim in crystal river on the hotel property?
There’s not really a swim spot in the river but the pool is awesome. I am not sure if there is a scalloping tour associated with the hotel but there are a lot in the general area.

Is there still mold smell in pet rooms? My husband has breathing issues? And how are the beds? Have they been redone
The rooms were very clean and very friendly housekeeping staff. The beds were decent, but I’m very spoiled when it comes to sleeping cause I’ve got a good bed at home. The room smelled clean. My problem with the hotel was the noise because the walls are so thin you can hear everyone around you. I liked it but next time we visit Crystal River we are going to check into a house rental.

Trip Advisor offers a “Deluxe Double” rate when I note there are 4 people, yet it doesn’t classify whether there are two beds. I don’t see a similar option on their website. Has anyone booked this previously or is able to classify the sleeping arrangements? Thank you.
Plantation has renovated many rooms in their multiple buildings in different ways. We stayed in the Jasmine building in Dec. 2017 which I believe was called a deluxe double double (when I called on the phone) which had brand new plush beds and linens but they were full size beds not true double beds. My husband and I bumped knees, toes and bottoms all night. Our teenager knocked the 10 year old out of their full size twice so we rented a $25 per night roll away cot which helped and was comfortable for our boys; we were unable to rent two 2 roll aways per fire code. I don't believe the rooms with 2 true double beds have the new plank hardwood-look flooring which I needed to prevent sinus congestion during a scuba trip. The other rooms have carpet and 2 true doubles and were not just renovated. When I was in the process of booking the hotel representatives told me to call them even if I booked through a different seller so the hotel could place me in the type of room I wanted. Call them before and after you book.
