I booked this hotel as a get way with my spouse. The layout of the hotel is very confusing. The parking is horrible and the cleanliness of bathroom was unacceptable. There was hair all over the floor and it had not been swept properly. Upon inspecting the bathroom throughly, there was only 1 towel in the bathroom for two guests as stated in the reservation. The vent was very dirty and it seems like it had not been cleaned in years. Also, the bed frame has clearly not been wiped down. As shown on the picture, below. They also placed me in a room for a visually impaired guest. Thankful that I am only staying for 1 day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Disappointed is an understatement.

I have to travel to the Miami area for medical treatment. I realize travel is confusing and difficult during this pandemic. However, most large companies have systems in place after over 3 months Not the Marriott Corp. which manages the Colonnade, took our reservation for 6/25. Fortunately we called to double check. Without advising us our reservation was cancelled as hotel now not scheduled to open until 7/1. Marriott claims they have no process for notifying customers except to say we might have gotten a call a couple of days before the scheduled reservation. Incredible lack of customer concern or service. Or interest in our interest in our business.

We recently booked this hotel for one night to be close to a hospital for a medical procedure the following day. Our stay was on a quiet Sunday night. I was wowed when I walked into the building but that was where it stopped. There was one family in front of us and one front desk person. I was greeted by an unhappy face, no welcome, no thank you for being a marriott reward member. I mentioned that I was there for a medical procedure thinking because it was quiet she would offer me an upgrade as they frequently do at marriotts when you are a reward member. Very dull personality, could not really give advice on where to eat. Our room was modern looking, the view was of roof tops and streets not pretty. TV set up was poor as the bed has 4 poster and blocks the tv. The sheets were like sandpaper. They must have booked everyone on the same floor because doors were slamming shut throughout the night. They need to adjust there doors so they don't slam. Very underwhelmed by the hotel, would not stay again.

Really nice, especially for the price. Morton’s down stairs is a huge plus. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Very clean. Staff was nice. Parking is expensive but that’s the only negative to the whole stay.

Great staff-friendly, accommodating and attentive. Rooms were well designed and clean. But I would recommend the larger king room to the standard sized king room-better layout and more space. Wifi was a bit slow but it maybe due to the fact that the hotel is located inside of an old office building. Which upon arrival to the hotel can come across as a bit odd because you have to take an elevator to the lobby level. Then another set of elevators to access rooms. Fitness center is small and a little unappealing, the pool area too. Maybe both just need updates. There is a charming game room where guest can relax and relate-this is a nice unique touch. Overall would stay here again.
