The hotel is amazing with beautiful rooms and outstanding service. The pool area is not to be missed. Plus, its a very short drive to lots of shops and restaurants in 'downtown' Coral Gables. This property is truly one of a kind. We will definitely return.

This hotel is nowhere near 4 stars. Grounds and exterior are beautful. Golf course is over rated and over priced. Front desk clerk was not at all helpful or friendly. Ask when you check in if there is an outdoor (poolside) event becuase our floor is shaking from the themping music down below. Be sure to request or demand a...

Dear Guest, we regret that our Donald Ross golf course did not meet your expectations and that our front desk employee was not providing the excellent hospitality we are known for. The latter has been addressed with the entire team. Thank you for taking the time to share your observations. Best regards Matthias Kammerer

We spent the weekend for my husband's birthday and it was nothing short of perfect! This hotel has such classic character - one of my favorites in Miami. The Sunday brunch is out of this world!!! I highly recommend trying it out - they had all types of food and the dessert.... oh my!!! The pool was amazing and they...

What a discovery! We stayed at The Biltmore for a week while closing on our home, and didn't want to check out. The curb appeal is amazing, and the hotel overall could not be more majestic and inviting. The property is about 90 years old, and has been meticulously maintained. It has a unique, high quality & comfortable feel. Their...

If I had a hotel bucket list, this would be on it and thanks to Amex's Fine Hotel and Resorts programme, I finally got to stay there. And we loved almost every minute of it. Lunch on the terrace was fantastic and followed this by swimming and sitting by that magnificent pool. A disappointment was that the Palme d'Or restaurant...

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, is one of a handful of “Grande Dame” hotels from a golden age that saw the construction of the Waldorf Astoria, The Park Plaza, The Broadmoor and a few other great, classic American hotels. And while the Grande Dame is still a classy broad, she is definitely showing her age. Make no mistake,...

Dear Guest, thank you for visiting and sharing your feedback with us. Your suggestions for upgrades and changes are well taken. While some ideas, including anything that would alter the exterior appearance of the National Historic Landmark are not options we can even consider, we are actively in the process of completely changing the lighting of the entire ground floor....

We stayed at the Biltmore this past weekend for our annual office Strategic Planning Meeting. What a great choice. Every meal we had was delicious, especially our dinner at Palme D'Or. Every interaction with the hotel was 5 star customer service. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. All of us were quite impressed. Special thanks to...

The Biltmore is a fabulous property with lovely rooms, fine restaurants, great spa treatments, and caring staff. The buildings are old and could use a facelift to enhance their innate beauty..some areas are in need of renovation.

Snowmageddon in NY prevented my return, so an editor friend rescued me after the Westin said they had no rooms available for me even though my flight back home was canceled and I hosted a meeting for 80 people. I was booked into the Biltmore tower, and it was perfection. Reminded me of Brentwood, CA.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Graced with effortless beauty and sophistication, The Biltmore Hotel is a national historic landmark located in the exclusive Coral Gables area with close proximity to Miami Beach and downtown Miami. The 273-room resort resembles classic Italian, Moorish, and Spanish architectural influences spread over 150-acres of tropical landscape. A favorite of world leaders and celebrities since its opening in 1926, the hotel offers a restored Donald Ross 18-hole, 71 par championship golf course, tennis courts, the largest hotel pool on the East Coast of the United States with private cabanas, a European spa, and an award-winning fitness center. The hotel's dining destinations include the award winning Palme d'Or, recognized by Zagat as one of the best restaurants in the country; Fontana, a traditional Italian restaurant surrounding The Biltmore courtyard and fountain; the poolside Cascade and the 19th Hole Golf restaurant. The hotel also recently unveiled its culinary academy offering an array of hands-on cooking classes for adults and children. The Biltmore is one of South Florida's preferred sites for leisure and business travel, high-level corporate briefings, public policy conferences, and an extraordinary wedding destination.
