This hotel was overpriced for the accommodations! It was moldy and the decor was old for the amount they charged! The location was not somewhere that I would go out at night! The staff were nice and accommodating!

St Michel could be a nice little hotel. It's in a great location and has lots of character. But when the staff are as unfriendly as these guys then faulty taps (faucets), showers not working properly and an unusable lift are no longer character, they're just plain annoying. I stayed here a few times but each time the staff became...

Historic hotel that was a nice visit. All the rooms had vintage thick wooden doors and an old style elevator. Downside was that you could not use the elevator yourself and needed an employee to operate it. Bottom level is a restaurant while the top 2 and 3rd are rooms. There is a staircase to bypass the elevator. Rooms were...

This upgraded hotel is near the heart of Coral Gables. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The elevator still requires an operator! A restaurant and bar is adjacent to the lobby. No breakfast is served but free coffee is in the lobby. The rooms are adequate and clean.

We needed a reasonably priced hotel for a one-night stay. Hotel St. Michel was perfect. The room was adequate, spotless, and quiet. The bathroom was tiled in marble in sparkled. We had two comfortable double beds in the room, They still have an elevator which needs an elevator operator. You ring the bell and they send the elevator to come...

The hotel was clean and quaint. The elevators could only be operated by the staff and when you see the elevator you will be happy about that. The staff was kind and helpful. We only stayed one night and think that it was exactly what we needed. Close to French pastry shop. Walking distance to grocery store.

When you arrive at the St. Michael, the first thing that comes to mind is old world charm. This is not your typical hotel chain hotel but a boutique hotel in nearly every way. It is very close to the heart of the city, and most things that you will need are within walking distance. There are many restaurants in...

My friend and I were looking for a convenient place to spend the night before a morning flight. We determined Coral Gables was the perfect location and happened upon the Hotel St. Michel. The rooms are an eclectic mix of antique with contemporary...the beds very comfortable and linens divine. Bathrooms have been renovated and are functional with nice towels and...

Typing this review at 2:15am after losing a night's sleep to the restaurant music below. If we had stayed only one night -- when the bar/restaurant hadn't re-opened after remodeling -- we would have given a 4+ to staff, location and charming queen room on the 2nd floor. The noise on our second night, however, is a deal breaker. Earplugs...

Great location, but I got the worse room in the hotel! 2nd floor, near the alley, no view, lots of noice, stay away from room 217! Was going to stay here every time I visit my customer, but won't stay here again! Choose another hotel in. Oral Gables! Disappointed in the room, clean, but small and noisy! Can hear the...
