Check-in was a breeze. The rooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire perimeter was well lit which was great because I had to use the laundry facility extremely late in the night but I still felt safe. Parking was plentiful. They offered a good breakfast with a wide range of items. The walk to the beach was less than 10minutes which was wonderful because we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot. There were a few restaurants nearby that were walkable especially with children in hand and a “surf type” shop connected which was wonderful for any last minute items I had to pick up or forget to get headed out to our cruise. The bar upstairs was nice as well with decent priced food and was kid friendly up until certain hours in through the night. I’d definitely stay here again!!

We stayed as a family of three (with 13 yr old son) in August 2019. Check in was quick and easy, we were greeted with a smile and all information was clear. We stayed in room 217 which is at the rear of the complex. The room was a decent size, with two double beds, a large TV, microwave, fridge, and importantly was clean and tidy (including the bathroom). There was adequate toiletries, towels, tea & coffee. There was a good selection of breakfast option (help yourself) in a clean and tidy room. Seating was available but I imagine it could be a squeeze at times. Bread, egg, sausage, waffle, yoghurt, fruit options available, alongside tea, coffee & juices. The heated pool was also a pleasant surprise, and this was a clean & safe area. We agreed we would stay again if ever in the area for a couple of days. The location is pretty good. The beach is a five minute walk away. Food options are a 5 minute drive. The Cocoa Beach Pier is only 5-10mins by car too (or $10 in an Uber).

This hotel was less than 4 miles from port and on street with multiple restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was okay - no turkey bacon or turkey sausage options but there was sausage. Small area for breakfast. Coffee not strong enough. Thankful for passes to gym next door. Friendly staff and immediate response when advised of issue with shower drain. Good stay overall.

I got to Cocoa Beach on Aug 14, and to my surprise, I was welcomed to La Quinta with a treat! This La Quinta Hotel was first owned by the “original 7 astronauts of the Mercury Space Program”— OMG, who knew, certainly not me! And even though this is my first time in Cocoa Beach I feel like I’ve been here before; I feel like I’ve stepped back in time. With the theme of the show, “I Dream of Jeannie” still lingering in the air (or in my mind) everywhere I look something reminds me of the childhood I once knew! From furniture, to houses, you’re almost expecting for Capt. Nelson, to walk out the door as you impatiently look to see if Jeannie will blink herself there too. Awww those were the days!!! And as impressive Cocoa Beach is, so is this La Quinta in particular. With the retro look of the 60’s everywhere, the dated furniture is supposed to be like that. But, there’s a few touches of the new millennium too, like the Keurig single serve coffee maker in the room. Awwww and I almost forgot the shower! The shower is open, and you just walk in... no tub or basin... and even Kayla (my cat) liked it too! Unlike a few other La Quinta properties which I was recently booked at, this one was clean, bug-free and very well put together. Also this hotel has a more spacious pool area with a bigger pool too as well as a bar upstairs and a Thai restaurant. As you enter the hotel, you can’t help but to notice, the astronaut in the lobby. And then you start noticing the pictures on the walls. Pictures of the first 7 Mercury astronauts, appear throughout the hotel lobby. Allan Sheppard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Walter Shirra, Gordon Cooper and Deke Slayton.... And they’re all really, really special to see! And so the time came to leave Cocoa Beach and when I drove off, I went straight to the other side of the street. There, another surprise was waiting for me. The street was named, I Dream of Jeannie Lane.... believe you me!

The hotel was clean and centrally located. Our room was clean but there was a funky odor in the room. It kinda smelled like someone had given a perm in the room. We tried to Febreze it but the smell lingered the two days we were there. Otherwise the room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The. bathroom is a bit tight. We enjoyed the breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, fruit, cereal, yogurt, make your own waffles, juice, and bagels.
