OK. I'm not going to do a hit job on this Inn. But lets be real...Soon as I walked into the lobby I was looking for Jack at the type writer. Pictures on the wall (creepy) but I have to say it was cool.. Girl at the front desk very nice.. And I did ask her am I going to... More

Old and well used, but has many historic values. If you want to "ruff" it in an old landmark stay here. Unfortunately the restaurant closed last year. It had great food. Try the Bar B Q place or Mexican in Clewiston.

We've been going to the Clewiston Inn for about 30 years. When we want to get out of the hustle and bustle of Palm Beach County we go to the Inn. It's close enough where you can scoot over for a quick little trip and get energized. The rooms are comfortable and the continental breakfast is nice the next morning.... More

The hotel sits on a corner and looks grand on the outside. Photos inside show the hotel built in the 1930s had its heyday in the 50s with parties and a flourishing kitchen. It still has the old furniture in the lobby and a wild life mural in the lounge. The place was empty but the room was clean and... More

I was going to give one start. But feel bad about it given the lady at the inn gave the choice between the two rooms. It was very nice of her. I chose the less dirty one. Don't get me wrong. We traveled all over the country. Whenever there is a choice, I chose to live in a historical place... More

The hotel saw definitely better times as many of the visitors also mentioned, but.... I personally liked the ambience, the south of USA all the pictures out of the 50ties and 60ties, th authentic accessories all over the place together with the real estate / house is simply great. In your room you will find a lot of useless things... More

We stayed one night with a group so not sure what the price was. Some work has been done, but a lot more is needed. First the pluses: loved the old lobby, slatted doors, old photos, etc. Room and public areas very clean. Paint was in good shape as were moldings/woodwork, etc. The fixtures in the bath appeared to be... More

I'm sure at one time this hotel was a lovely place with its own grandeur and sophistication, but those days are long gone. The building and rooms were tired and dated; the restaurant was closed (during tourist season) and the continental breakfast consisted of a few muffins, donuts, cereal and coffee. All of this would have been fine at a... More

I have stayed at the Clewiston Inn three times in the last five years. Most recently last week. Love this hotel. New owners (The Patels) are investing in restoration and while parts of the hotel need this, the overall feel is the grace and gentile of old Florida. The staff at the desk (senior and junior women, both named Valerie)... More
