Stopped for just one night but what a hidden little gem this is. The park and restrooms are clean. Lots of activities listed. Bonus there is all you can eat at the “Honey Pot” 3 nights a week. The menu is the same each week served by volunteers. We arrived on Friday so fish it was and great portions for $11/person. The wireless is spot on... zero issues and no additional fees. We certainly will be back to stay longer.
This resort is about 80% permanent sites. It isn’t very big rig friendly. Streets are narrow and sites are tight. I will say that is is very clean and always something to do. Friendly management. Will most likely stay there again.
If you plan on staying long term this might be your location because it will be difficult to get out. We had a “pull through” reservation for our 40-foot RV. When we pulled up there was a large electrical box blocking one end. Called the front desk and they asked if we could go around and back-in. Yeah, they did NOT lead us to our site. Told them there wasn’t enough room so they put us a few more spaces down. Saw another RV backing in on the same row...they said the front desk pulled the same thing with them. ALL roads are extremely narrow, trees, white plastic posts everywhere, and packed-in campers make this a difficult location to navigate. Had to use spotters the entire route on both sides as we left the park. Slots that are “short-stay” were not level, very muddy, and are in desperate need of upkeep. We got out just in time because our wheels and jacks started to sink into the ground and it was NOT the rainy season in FL. If you have a larger RV...go elsewhere. We are NEVER coming back!!…
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this RV park. The staff and owners/renters were all very friendly and accommodating. The pool is solar heated and beautiful. The meals they serve at their restaurant is all home cooked meals and scrumptious, I would recommend it to anyone, it is also open to everyone even if you are not staying at the park. If you have small children there is no playground, the park if mostly retirees which was great for us. The laundry room and washrooms and showers are very clean. Some areas of the park need to be decluttered and cleaned up by individual owners but overall very nice park.
The place is packed because it is very good. The seasonal campers are friendly as is the staff. The best is the fried chicken dinner. I did not get to try the pot roast but heard good coments about it.
