I have stayed here every summer since I moved here. I love it here, BUT this time I’m disappointing. Screaming kids in the pool ( unsupervised no less) the hallways and down from a balcony. Maintaince men using hammers and drills to work on a room until 10:15pm. Yes I said TEN FIFTEEN at night!!!! Woke me out of a dead sleep.
It’s a great place to stay 99% of the time. Chairs just outside your door so you can enjoy the day (as long as there are no screaming kids in the pool) the pool is amazing and the beach is across the street!!!! I know I’ll be back next year but I may have to be a complainer if it’s the same way again.

stayed here for a few nights. easy to find, close to beach(walking distance). parking avaible. the part of the hotel we were in seems to be a little older, rooms were clean. ours had a lot of room. beds were comfortable, pillows good. we liked that there was a set of chairs outside each room. we were able to get out more and enjoy the weather. they had a pool at each part of the hotel. staff were friendly. check in and out was fast and easy. we would stay again if we get back.

Our super group of girls came to stay for a night to check out Clearwater. We opened our room door and the overwhelming smell of cleaner hit us. We had to open our door and leave it open for hours to get the smell out. Others would have requested a different room, but we roughed it out. They clean with Fabuloso cleaner, which is very strong. I saw housekeeping pouring a big ole batch into a bucket in the morning. Ugh.
We went out to dinner at Salties next door which was good, btw. When we returned, the air conditioner had leaked all over the tile floor. We cleaned it up and carried on. The pool was nice and clean. There’s a great ice cream shoppe on the property. I had cookie dough! Yum.
This hotel is across the street and down the block from beach access. The pillows were floppy, shredded junk, but the beds were ok. The shower was good, but there was no view from frosted window. Not sure if I would return.

We have been coming to this hotel on vacation from Canada for about 5 years. We're hooked! It is near several eating locations and a short walk to the beach (across the road)
There is a quiet atmosphere and the rooms are well maintained. The manager Stephanie ensures your stay will be enjoyable. We book ahead year to year. The 2 story part of this hotel is family oriented. (We have not stayed in the other part but I suspect it is he same)

I've visited Clearwater Beach multiple times and this was, by far, the best service I've received from hotel staff. Morgan was exceptional! To begin with, my flight was delayed and I received a call from her to ensure I was still planning on checking in and she even offered to arrange a taxi for me. Today, prior to check out, she shared great insight and suggestions for local options based upon my personal interests. My only regret is that I didn't seek her advice sooner. However, I'm well prepared for my next trip. By the way, the location of the hotel is great for walking and they do a great job cleaning the rooms daily. My room was on the top floor far from the main road - this was quiet and I would recommend a similar room.

Booked this Hotel through Booking.com, and informed the Hotel that I plan to come early for Breakfast, since I live locally and needed a break, so asked if I could get my room before 3 PM. Was told it would cost me an additional $25 to check in between the hours of 12 Noon and 2 PM, but they did let me leave my car in their lot while waiting for my room, which was ready at 3 PM. Was on the 5th floor with a great view, and a shower that felt like a massage. When I asked for a receipt upon leaving I was told to get it from Booking.com, whom in turn told me to get it directly from the Hotel. The Hotel said they would email it to me, so I am waiting for it. Meanwhile, I was charged an additional $30 damage charges, because the towels I used apparently had makeup stains on them. I called and told the Hotel that if there was a problem they should have told me, not just charge me without my knowledge! I feel that this is a very unethical way of doing business, and that they try to get as much extra money out of hotel guests as they can. If the towels were a problem, I would have washed them myself, but they could have at least told me, not just bill me for damages.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the water, although the pool is there and loud noise.

My husband and I stayed in a family suite in the two story building. We loved it. The hotel is located in the ideal area of Clearwater Beach with plenty of dining, bars, shopping, etc. within easy walking distance. Our room was large, clean and the staff was friendly. One parking spot is included at no cost. Housekeeping came every day without having to ask. Both pools were clean, well maintained with perfect water temps. If you are looking for a suitable place on a budget, this fits the bill quite nicely. We were in the area for a wedding and two other couples in our group stayed here as well but were in the main building. If you're able to, request the 2 story building as we were far happier with our stay then our friends were. The rooms in the 2 story building cost a few dollars more but are VERY worth it! We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Clearwater Beach.

Very nice young man at front desk. When we reported to him that the first room he gave us was not satisfactory due to the room door not closing and dead bolt lock not working he very nicely gave us another room. However the second room door was fine, but bathroom door would not close all the way and had brown stain. I read other reviews and it looked good. I do not know why our experience was so bad. We left and the young man fully refunded out money. Location was good, but pictures are very deceiving. Pay a little more and get a better room!

First surprise on arrival is that guest parking is no longer free, since last month. So although our room was "fully pre-paid," there was more to pay for parking. Second surprise was that one of the two (dirty) elevators was not working, and the broken one was stuck on our floor, but not switched off; meaning we could not call the working elevator to our floor, because the system always thought the broken one was there. Third surprise was the lack of adequate supplies in our room. We requested a blanket and pillow and were told it would be sent up, but it never was. Fourth surprise was a phone call that woke us up late at night, from the night manager coming on duty. She asked if we had received our requested blanket and pillow, which we had not, so she promised to get them sent to us the next day, which they were not. Fifth surprise was the cockroach in the bathroom. Sixth surprise was that the view from our "bay view room" was great, except that you could only enjoy it by having the curtain open to the public walkway outside the room, so that you were on full display in your bedroom. Seventh surprise was that the walkway outside our room was not only accessible to hotel guests but anyone at all, as the 24-hour reception has no view of who is coming and going up the stairs and the elevator. In summary, this was a very disappointing stay, in an old building not being maintained well. It is surrounded by very new high rise hotels and condos, and I can only imagine that the owners are planning to sell it to be knocked down and the site redeveloped in character with the rest of the area, otherwise they would doubtless be caring for it much more. It is very much cheaper to stay here than most of the nearby hotels, but you get what you pay for,

Our extended stay at the Clearwater Beach Hotel was very pleasant. We were pleased with the relative value for the lodging, as well as it’s walking distance to popular attractions, restaurants, shops and bars. We were also very happy with the quality and timeliness of the hotel’s housekeeping services.
