We had what is called a city view room- right across the way was a bar/nightclub. The music was super loud, but the cars that would drive by were ridiculous!!! I didn’t fall asleep until 3am. My kids had trouble sleeping too. Toilet also ran excessively- to the point that we didn’t flush unless necessary. Also, there was no hairdryer in my room. Great location and pool though- has potential, but not for me. Disappointed !! (And tired!!). I expect more from Hilton hotels!

Hotel's Favorite
We have been going to the Clearwater Beach Hilton Resort and Spa for the last 13 years, and thought there have been changes, seldom are they bad changes. With Covid, it is a troubling, but the Hilton for the most part made it a relaxing time. On occasion the staff could have done a better job of making sure people abided by the mask rule inside the Hotel, but some people just don't listen. That didn't cause us any issues, because we stayed to ourselves and enjoyed the beautiful hotel and beach. The staff is absolutely excellent around the pool area and the Tiki hut. The hilton can not go wrong with Lisa in control of the pool area and food. She is one of the reasons we come to the Hilton. With her personality and attention to detail and remembering repeat customer, she is a treasure to the Hilton hopefully the Hilton management understands and recognizes her as such. Last year there were some bugs concerning the valet, but not this year. The were always on it and we at most waited about 3 minutes to get our car. The front desk personnel, again outstanding and extremely helpful. We had three consecutive reservations, and they made sure the process was seamless. The only complaint, but really a concern, was the Hilton Honors Diamond member comes with a free Continental breakfast for up to 2 people in the room. The continental breakfast is an absolute perfect way to start your day. You get it to go, and enjoy it at poolside. This year, no go, possibly the Hilton management could have accommodated the honors members with a continental breakfast to go, and have the restaurant employees put it together . Or did what the Hilton at Disney Springs did last year when issues arose for their continental breakfast, they allowed us to order or eat breakfast in the standard restaurant area. But maybe logistics didn't allow for that to be done. All in all, the Hilton is the best hotel RIGHT on Clearwater Beach. You can complain about many things but you can never complain about the attitude and willingness the staff has to make your stay the best stay every time you are there.

If you want a beach view, request a room that is a FULL view or on the South side of the property. North end had a not so nice view below of the air conditioners. All the extra fees is crazy. $25 a day for resort fee, the parking feeS, you can't take your own drinks to the pool or beach. You pay a good amount for the hotel room, you should NOT have to spend all the extras for resort fee when you need to pay for all your drinks, chair, beach rentals, etc, parking fee...what the heck

Our sincere apologies. Please know we are continually reviewing our website to ensure any additional costs are very transparent to our guests at the time of booking. We are working with our team to ensure they are explaining the amenities available with accuracy. The parking is a separate charge and again we are transparent on our website. Most resorts have fees for parking, especially where it is limited on the beach. We appreciate you taking the time to provide valuable feedback. We will be sure to share it with our management team to use on improvements. Thank you.

The hotel was packed - most people were wearing masks indoors, but I don’t think the staff were monitoring too much, and there were a few instances when we had to wait for another elevator because folks were not wearing masks inside the elevator car. We were traveling with our young child, and it seemed most hotel patrons were there to party. Drunk, disorderly folks even in the middle of the day. The room was very small and dated, and several lights did not work. Basically no upgrades for diamond members, and we had a rude encounter with one of the managers, Jillian Bell, who overcharged us and refused to apologize even when she realized her mistake. Most of the other staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. One pro: the beachside yoga from 8-9 was lovely. Overall, definitely not a 4-star resort.

To be honest, I was a little worried about this hotel after I booked it and started reading the negative reviews but my wife and I stayed here for 5 nights, October 6th-11-2020 and we had a great time! When I booked this vacation 4-5 months ago, I requested a south facing room on a high floor. I called the day before we checked in to confirm that request. We arrived around 11:00AM after Ubering in from the airport. The guy at the desk said he could get us in a room right away but if we waited, he would upgrade us to a better room. Diamond Status does have it's privileges. We were given hotel bracelets that allowed us to use the pool and facilities until our room was ready. We hit the pool, the beach and the Tiki Bar until our room was ready. We got a great room on the 8th floor facing south towards Pier 60 and overlooking the pool about 4 rooms in off the beach, it had an awesome view! The rooms are a little older and smaller then we're used to and the bathroom was really tight but it was clean and comfortable. We don't usually spend a whole lot of time in the room anyway so we were cool with it. The whole hotel was clean and anywhere we went, the employees/staff were very friendly. The drinks at the hotel bar, pool bar and tiki bar were pretty steep but that was to be expected. We spent everyday on the beautiful, white sand beach, at the pool and going out every evening to the many bars and restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. We didn't have a car with us and didn't need one. It's been a long time since just my wife and I got away by ourselves and this vacation was fantastic. Thank You Hilton, we'll be back!
