Beachy decorated room.Has everything you need. Convenient to beach. Friendly people. A bit of a walk to the main shopping area, but there are a couple of eating places very nearby. Easy to get to the beach.

My daughter were in Clearwater for a beach volleyball tournament. I waited too long to book a hotel and there wasn't much left when I finally booked. I was very hesitant to book Camelot Suites because we prefer to stay away from "motels" and "outside rooms" (we're scaredy cats) but we're so glad we booked it! Our stay was perfect! The suite was very clean, had everything we needed, the suite and property was very cute and quaint, and Vickie (the Manager) was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was perfect (withing walking distance of the beach all of the restaurants and shops) and we never for a minute felt unsafe at all. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Just came back home from Florida. Very nice and cozy little motel! Beautiful view from the top of the building! Kitchen, balcony BBQ, nice warm pool, great rooms. BUT, BUT, BUT be careful which room you get. Room 211, and my friends room 209 beds were garbage! We couldn’t move. You try to get off of it, you will wake up everyone in the room. It’s so squeaky!!!! Insane!!! We’ve been told that some rooms have memory foam beds. They also have 1 bedrooms for $20 extra! It’s definitely worth paying $20. Also, be careful about rules and rule signs because office closes at 4pm and people do whatever they want, screaming at 2,3 am, swim in the pool at 5am, almost make out in the pool and definitely make out on the top of the building. I’m very disappointed with management not taking care of a such a nice motel. Cleaners are amazing! Service was great! I was a bit shocked when I found a broken beach umbrella in my closet and asked for a new one and the lady’s response was “well it was brand new”. I don’t like being accused of something that I didn’t do. Main beach is 3min walk, just across the street. Hopefully my review will get their attention because I want to go there next year again. Clear water is so beautiful!

My family and I stayed for 4 nights and had the best time! We were allowed to take our dog which was major for us. Vickie and the staff at Camelot ensure that you have all you need for a wonderful stay. They are friendly, personable and helpful! The rooms and whole resort were spotless. Their pride in their work shows! You can't beat the location which is a half block to the beach and within 15 minutes to the pier, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely come back for several more vacations south. Thanks Vickie and team! All the best from Laura and Terry from Toronto!

Picked here mostly for the pet friendly option. Reviews were good. Our 1st trip to the area so we didnt know much about it. Prices were extremely fair , Ms Vicky was so pleasant to deal with and communicated very well. We arrived a little early but she had things ready. Check in was a breeze. Our room was so clean and roomy. We had a stove and fridge with microwave. . We had every thing we needed all week. The staff checked on us every opportunity and was great. Parking can be a challenge at times but staying here was well worth it. Had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.
