Hotel Cabana has a rich, multi-decade history. Originally built in 1947 as a single story building and named Coca Cabana, our hotel has always been a haven for laid-back sun lovers to enjoy the beach in a warm and welcoming environment. We've had many names - including most recently the Hotel Cabana, but we've always had a common goal: to welcome people to Clearwater Beach, one of the most beautiful places on earth. I NEVER write reviews for places I stay, but I had to write one for Hotel Cabana! We absolutely loved our stay here! It an older boutique hotel but they have done such a good job with the up keep. We stayed in the king size suite and our room was clean and comfortable. It was great to be within walking distance of the downtown area and a block away from the beautiful Clearwater Beach. Now, on to the staff... Kat was AMAZING!! We got there early having come in on a red eye flight and had to wait about an hour until the office opened. When Kat met us at the door we instantly fell in love with her sweet nature. She went above and beyond to get us into our room well before the 3pm check in and was such a great help the whole stay! So it is mainly for her, her above and beyond hospitality, and sweet personality that I write this review. Every single one of the staff members we encountered were helpful and kind! We will 110 % stay here again!! Thanks for a great stay Hotel Cabana!!…

We selected a 2nd floor room, and were on the corner with a limited water view. Nice that there was a mini kitchen with fridge. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee every day. The outdoor sitting area and pool was also lovely. It was on the quiet end of Clearwater Beach. I’m recommend checking it out.

Not sure how this place has such great reviews everywhere and gets away with charging the prices it does. It looks very little like the pictures, they certainly tried to renovate it but mostly it’s lipstick on a pig. There are few to no amenities, no blow dryer, no ironing board, no trash can and the AC is nearly non existent which made for a very hot and sticky stay in July. The bathroom has no ventilation so has a very bad mildew smell. There is also absolutely no sink space in the bathroom as well. There was never any beach rental equipment. There are NO onsite staff. Everything is communicated over text message so it felt more like a bad air bnb then a hotel. Yes you can walk to the beach but it’s still a decent walk to Frenchys or any where else you want to be. And to top our stay off we found cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen, thankfully that was our last morning and we high tailed it out. Move on from this one.…

Thanks for choosing Hotel Cabana and for your review. We're so sorry to hear you did not absolutely loved staying with us. All of our rooms offer hair dryers and trash cans, so we certainly apologize if they were missing or in an area not easily found. Irons and ironing boards are happily provided upon request. Beach items are not advertised as an amenity as we do not officially provide them. We curate a collection of items guests leave with us and they are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Sorry to hear there were none available for you. We wish we would have known about these issues during your stay as so many of them could have resolved immediately. Our front desk is staffed 8am-8pm everyday and we have overnight staff ready to assist in-person at the front desk or by phone or text messaging. Wishing you safe travels!

The pictures they show don't show how run down building is and show only bathroom shots from the suites. Are toilet was literally right up against shower end how to put feet up on shower to use or go sideways. The bathroom sinks are bigger in prison The room was big enough nice dresser and drawers in bed. By end of trip was invaded with brown catapillars/millapeededs some on bed alive when woke up dead in bathroom but all over our toothbrushes and the floor towel for shower was covered. The cleaning service was great nicest ladies. The pool area good location for us great beach more quiet. Check out is 10am where usually is 11. Wld prob stay again more prepared that your dresser will hold all your grooming products keep toothbrush in a container and hang up shower floor towel always maybe look into the suites seem to hv bigger bathrooms.…

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time. The Hotel is very cute and charming. The service Hilda and her girls gave was spectacular.. They went above and beyond. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. Its close to beach, bars, a-lot restaurant.

We had a lovely stay at this small (20ish rooms) hotel a pleasant walk away from the busy streets of Cleawater beach «city centre». Charming, clean rooms, coffee every morning and a nice pool with a small common area in between the buildings. Short walk to the beach, beach equipment could be borrowed for free. Would stay here again for sure.

Great little room within steps of the beach. Very clean, nice towels and bedding, great pool area, with a very friendly staff. We had a queen room and it had a microwave, small refrigerator, and small bath. Did not have a chair, don’t like to sit always on the bed. We would go sit down by the pool and have our drinks, eat if we brought something in, and met a lot of really great people from all over!

When we come to Florida we always like a few days in Clearwater Beach. We like to stay in the smaller motel type places rather than the big hotels. This was our first time here and we had booked a King room and it was fantastic. Super clean and fresh. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom included everything one would need. The check in process was very easy we received a text in the morning and our envelope with our keys etc where ready when we arrived. We were not at the main block is the only thing I would warn people of. We were in a building about 2 mins walk away just around the corner with it’s own separate small pool and it was lovely and peaceful but you could of course walk around to the main building and use the pool there. It is a lovely area just across the street is the walkway to the beach and the main busy area of Clearwater is just a stroll away. In my opinion perfect location. The staff were super pleasant. So much so we will be returning this year for a second visit. …

Great location on north end of beach. Very nice decor with beach across the street. The room a very comfortable with a bohemian decor that’s very relaxing. The staff was friendly and keep the place in top shape.
