The two queen studio we stayed in for 4 nights was spacious, but that style of room is only on the side of the hotel directly above the most awful dive bar of all time... I went down at 10pm the first night and was told by the front desk that there were no other similar rooms available, but they would add us to a list to move to the Springhill Suites sister property... The next morning, I was told that the SHS was fully booked, there were no other rooms available in the Residence Inn, but I could come back the following morning before 9am and check again... I said I was happy with literally any other room and they still didn’t have “anything” available... They wouldn’t assist with a transfer to another Marriott property: The only option I was given was to cancel and book somewhere else... Of course every hotel is booked and the rooms that are available are at least $100+ extra per night...

Upon check in I asked for a quiet room and she said she had a great room for me. It is currently midnight and the club across the street might as well be in my room...

Valet staff were fast, friendly and courteous, I don’t usually expect to pay for parking unless I’m staying downtown but parking is a premium at the beach so I get it... Not sure why it’s 29.00 for hotel guests when I believe I saw a sign advertising it to general public at $20 a day?... This is a very nice hotel for the money (everything else close by is much more expensive)...

This was my third time staying at this hotel and it was wonderful, as usual! It is always so clean and the staff is always so lovely... Before we got there I called and spoke with Trish and she was one of the most wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure of working with... She ensured our rooms were all on the same floor and that we were so well taken care of the whole trip... Any time she saw me, she called me by name and asked how our stay was and told me to let her know if we needed anything... Just absolutely perfect customer service... The breakfast is amazing, the beds are comfortable, the kitchenette has all the things you could need if you chose to cook...
