My friend & I stayed at this hotel 2 nights. We got harassed each night after only being in our hotel for less than 10 min. Just two women. No children. No extra guests. Not even listening to music, or watching TV. We could hear our neighbors being loud, yet "no, you're the one being loud, you need to be quiet." Resulted in getting police escorted out of the hotel just to boost the front desk clerks ego. He kept stating to us multiple times, "I'll kick you out of the hotel, and you WONT get a refund. - Keep in mind he's a very new employee. Not once were any of the staff members polite. Even trying to rectify the issue afterwards has been a mess. Corporate can't do anything because it is considered a franchise. Management likes to hang up on you, or ask "did you leave something or what, why do you keep calling? Or hold the phone and go about their day. Absolutely unprofessional. Seems that the hotel acts this way because they know there are no actual repercussions for their actions. My friend and I work HARD, and just wanted to enjoy a vacation. I am a veteran, and a nurse - and in NO WAY would act in such a matter that would get me POLICE escorted from a hotel. The police even felt the need to tell the employee that the removal was unneeded. 0/10 recommend this hotel, or any other Marriott at this point.

My daughter stayed out all night and came in at 6 am Friday morning. As soon as she got in she laid down and the phone rang. The desk stated the room next door complained of noise in which my dgtr replied I just got here and I’m now in bed. Later that Friday night she left at 11pm, went out and came back at 4am and again as soon as she got to her room she was told she had a noise complaint. At this point my dgtr is feeling harassed and singled out as each time she arrived she was rudely threatened to be kicked out without even the opportunity to settle in. She asked to be moved and was refused. She then called me about what to do and I told her just be calm and don’t give them any reasons to bother you anymore. I called the desk and asked why she can be moved. Eventually he said ok and agreed if he had anymore issues to give me a call first. My dgtr went to lobby to pick up food that was delivered and had decided to decline the room move because she was tired, was going to eat and go to bed. She went back to her room and was talking to me Quietly on the phone for an extended period of time when she received a knock at the door. It was the police. The man had reported her as cursing and belligerently drunk and felt he was not safe. He had them removed at 530 am and made her wait in the street in her pajamas and all her luggage for me to come get her because I had her car. He also charged her parking for a car on this night when obviously if I had to pick her up, she did not have a car on the lot. My dgtr is a professional woman who runs a business in DC. She has been staying with Marriott for several years and has never had an issue anywhere she has ever stayed. This whole fiasco escalated by the employee has not only been a complete embarrassment to my dgtr but has ruined her entire visit to Clearwater Beach. My dgtr paid over 400$ for 1 night to be TOLD she was not allowed to talk while in her room. The way she was spoken to and treated is completely unacceptable. No female should ever be thrown on the street in the dark in her pjs. When I pulled up I immediately started recording and you can see the valet guy stayed out in the street with her to ensure she was safe. He could not believe that she was the person they were kicking out. When I spoke with the officer on scene, he told me his colleagues had actually had gone up to discuss with the agent that what he was doing was above and beyond uncalled for as she was not drunk, completely composed, and of no threat to him in size or comparison. When I told him on the phone that I would not recommend nor ever stay at this hotel again, he stated he didn’t care, he didn’t need our business. When I arrived he seemed completely surprised by the fact that I was white and spoke to me in a whole different manner than he did on the phone. My dgtr is black. I am beyond pissed. My dgtr was in a room on the very end next to the elevators and a closet. Take it how you want but I give this hotel a zero.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It’s just about 2 blocks from the beach which is gorgeous. It’s a little further to a lifeguard stand section of the beach (maybe a half mile) if you want to be near the lifeguard stand. The hotel is clean - pool small but fine. The breakfast was mostly oatmeal and pre made sandwiches most of the days we stayed but the last morning they had Belgium waffles and breakfast burritos which was great. This location is a little bit away from the ‘action’ but is an easy 10-15 minute walk there. Also this hotel is near the Clearwater beach rec center which has a great pool, basketball, tennis and Pickleball courts.

Nice place on the intercostal waterway and just a short walk across the narrow part of island to the beach. Pool is small but was nice. Parking is $25 per day valet, which is on the ground floor and was easy to use. Lobby is on the 3rd floor. We were upgraded to intercostal view, which had a nice view. Elevator was quick, staff was nice and room was very comfy. Restaurants, bars and shops are a short - .3 miles, 10 minute - walk away.

I was trying to book a few rooms for my family and some friends to celebrate my mothers life by renting a boat at Little Toot's to scatter my mothers ashes in the ocean. I had celebrated my fathers life 4 years ago at the same place. I was having such a difficult time with my reservations which was really stressing me out. I decided to contact the hotel directly to check if the reservations were done correctly and found out that I had done them wrong. Now I'm really stressed because it was only a couple of days away. When I called the hotel, I spoke with Laura, the front office manager and that's when I found out the reservations where wrong. Laura was amazing! She asked me to email her and give her the names of my family and that she would straighten out my reservations, and she did just that. She went above and beyond to help me out. The day we checked in, my brother in law called me asking if they had a room that he could rent for his family. I spoke to Laura but the rate was too expensive for him, which I told her. So we started calling around trying to find him a hotel in the area that he could afford. About 30 minutes later, Laura called my wife and told her she had a better rate for my brother-in-law, which he accepted. As a Director of Engineering at a resort hotel in Orlando, I know how important it is to give great customer service, and that's exactly what Laura did! She went above and beyond to take care of our needs. This type of service is hard to find! She is an asset to the Fairfield Inn & Suites! Pam as well, was a Pleasure to work with! When we were all checking out, we were talking about coming back at a later date just to hand out and enjoy the area. We will definitely be back just because of the AWSOME customer service from Laura and Pam.

Yes, everything was clean, the room was spacious, but the hotel is overpriced, aside from the room you have to pay for the parking. The breakfast is a covid menu, so don't expect much. Packed things, coffe, bagel, cereal, milk, yogurt... The hotel doesn't have direct access to the beach, you have to walk a little bit. It is far from Pier 60 if you want to be with the crowd.

stayed May 2021. no signs from garage saying to go up to 3 to check in. found others wandering around looking for how to check in. had a friend still sleeping, asked if i could take a breakfast sandwich up to her and the server said NO and threw one sandwich at me. pool is ok. desk help is rarely there. small fridge in room, free Netflix didn't work. not worth the points we cashed in for 3 nights there, will not stay again.

This was a return stay. After this stay I don’t believe I’ll be back. We spent most of our time at the beach and this was a good distraction from the issues at the hotel. I get that changes were made due to COVID, but the cost of the stay was horrible compared to the level of service and quality of the hotel. For the cost, I would recommend a stay at a nicer full service property.
