We stayed for 4 nights at this Property. Staff our Amazing. Every member we encountered were fabulous. The front desk was very helpful. The Hotel is a little outdated and we were told a renovation is in the works. Rooms need new carpets and updating, but the views were amazing. The balcony's are very small with a small table and 2 chairs, so difficult to really enjoy. The pool area is great except the towels. Towels were worn and very, very thin. Maybe with the update, nice towels will be purchased for the Hotel. Pool service was excellent. We would rate this hotel a 4 out of 5, just due to updates needed. Hopefully by next year, the renovations will take place and we would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. We sadly only stayed 1 night at this hotel. We loved the feel and service at the hotel. The valet service, particularly Wilmer and Angus were very welcoming and helpful. The staff in the reception and the breakfast were also great. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom had obviously been recently refurbished and were excellent. All in all we had a wonderful stay. Well done to all the staff and management who obviously encourage this welcoming attitude to guests.

Exceed expectations. The valets are the best. It’s like vacationing with friends. Huge shout out to Wilber, Michael and Austin. Informative, kind, friendly, just awesome. They were all great. Location is great, jolley trolley fantastic, food was above average, rooms spacious, very clean hotel. Great gym, wonderful pool, only con was we had to leave. We travel quite a bit, this by far is an exceptional hotel, and run like a well oiled machine. Kudos to all, especially the valets. Oh, and Mikel Lopes, concierge, couldn’t be nicer. Truly all staff we came in contact with was exceptional. And a side note, Tampa airport is so easy to get in and out of compared to others.

We had a great experience here during our 5 night stay. Everyone and I mean everyone we interacted with amongst the staff was terrific. Valet and Front desk staff were awesome always greeted us with a smile and were very helpful Rick and Ricardo in the main bar were outstanding kept us entertained and hydrated our entire stay. Pool Bar staff (Brendan, Kimi and especially Jacob) were the best! Wouldn’t have been the same stay without them. Hotel is well located on the bay with beautiful views, 2 minute walk across the street to a beautiful beach. Clearwater Beach proper is easily accessible via free trolley or a very reasonable Uber/Lyft ride Highly recommend folks give this Marriott a try when visiting Clearwater

I haven't opened TripAdvisor in probably a year, but I had too leave some great feedback. Lets start with the actual property itself. Conveniently located ample parking to the north of the resort makes it easy to rent a car and still have somewhere secured to park it. I speculate the building was likely built in the early-mid 80s, however inside you would never know. The building is in GREAT shape. Rooms & Public areas have been renovated and it feels fresh and modern. Not once, did I noticed clutter or waste anywhere, this place is so clean. The pool and outdoor public areas are pristine and well appointed with plenty of seating and areas to lounge and relax with beautiful views. The staff at this hotel made us feel so special, like we were the only ones in the Resort. Wilmer & Neil (Valet) made sure to greet us by name often, asked us what we had planned and even went out of their way to offer recommendations for local dining and attractions. They kept us hydrated and gave us ice cold waters on the hot days. Julia (Food & Beverage) was so sweet and personable, she told us about where she lived and worked before and told us to visit Honeymoon Island. It was so nice to connect on a personal level with her and her kindness truly shows. Renee (Front Desk, night audit) had checked us in LATE at night and she was so welcoming and warm and made sure we were taken care of. She even put us on a high floor with great views. Dante (Front Office Manager) was very approachable and polite. As a former front office manager myself, I know it can be a very difficult job. He is clearly doing a GREAT JOB. His team is empowered to do what it takes to make things right and that takes a lot of work. Overall, our stay was fantastic. This resort is so beautiful and in a great location. This is a beautiful hotel with stunning views, ideal being able to ride the jolley trolley for free. All staff are very friendly&very caring and go out of their way to help you, all staff from the managers, bell guys,housekeeping, front desk and especially concierge mikel, they all made my stay very special. Highly recommend the food both in the restaurant and poolside bar friendly and helpful servers

Another truly great overall experience at the Marriott Suites on Sand Key…… Your greeted with a smiling team and a lovely fresh smell plus a friendly squawk from Lisa the parrot as you enter the lobby area…… The rooms are clean and a lovely size coupled with a comfy bed, nice fittings and fixtures, good Wi-Fi and fluffy towels - plus the lovely views out into the bay. The atmosphere is totally relaxing and your only minutes from the beautiful beaches, bars , restaurants and marina area - all courtesy of the free trolley ride over to the main beach. Breakfast was really nice too - buffet plus omelettes cooked how you like and all at reasonable rates. The location and pricing always makes this the returning location for us in Clearwater - why pay $200 more per night to stay on the main beach - the Sandpearl, Opal Sands and Hyatt are nice however all higher prices but are for sure no better…. Well done Marriott - keep setting the standard. Perhaps a new range of sleeping sofas in the suite would help improve and modernise the appearance if there was an opportunity to improve.…

We stayed here for a couple of days mid-August. We had a suite on one of the upper floors. We had to ask about the third bed as the sofa was still packed away, but on pulling it out it was made up. There is a kids club, but it wasn't open the whole time we were there. The pool was clean and there were enough sunbeds! Our child really enjoyed the kids water area. The team in reception/concierge were really helpful on giving advice on how to get to Clearwater etc - use the free tram! We chose to breakfast at the deli in the strip mall next door - it was lovely!

We loved the added room of having a suite with the kids and the views were fabulous from both sides. The pool and pool bar had the best tropical drinks and food, especially the pizza. Enjoyed room service breakfast that was really good too. The Marriott even offered a free trolly ride to town which was wonderful since it was a boat race weekend and parking was difficult. Really nice accommodations and great food and drinks, we even extended our stay another day. Highly recommend!
