Very clean room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great location close to the water. Power went out on entire island of Chokoloskee that night. It was a bonus-we went out at midnight to see the stars. I had forgotten what a truly dark sky looks like! I would stay there again.
We like to stay in exotic, obscure places and Chokoloskee, Florida fits that bill - it is literally at the end of the road. And we wants to stay there, not just day trip. The Parkway Motel was an excellent choice for us. We had a “suite” with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and lovely screened-in porch. The people managing it were friendly and helpful. To mimic other reviews, it was clean and well worth the drive!
Loved this place. We stayed in a small room, then a bigger with the kitchenette. Both were “eat off the floor” clean. Everything was comfortable, although the small room would be hard to handle if you wanted to have more than a meal or two using the microwave. The big one would work for a weeks stay perhaps. Good cooking facilities. There is a laundry in a marina building if you have soap and quarters. The only downside is if there are multiple loud people in an adjacent room...people who don’t seem to be aware that making lots of phone calls outside your window or yelling, or getting drunk and loud is just plain obnoxious. Walls are a but thin and lots of noise comes through connecting doors. But cannot blame the owners for who chooses to stay there. Walk to Havana Cafe for breakfast. Need a car for other restaurants or groceries. Owners and family are wonderful, and totally responsive. …
I enjoyed my trip to Chokoloskee last week and our stay at the Parkway Motel was one of the highlights. The owners are very polite and professional and will help you with things to do in the area. Room was very clean also.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Parkway Hotel and Marina in Chokoloskee, Florida. Delightful, spacious, and bright room. Room was spic and span clean and had all conveniences to make us feel right at home. The owners were friendly and so helpful, giving us tips on a beautiful pole boat tour in the Everglades and good places to eat. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the table and chairs outside of our room and watched the sunset. The sunset was also visible from their marina, very pretty!
