This hotel was just a low ok. Staff that I saw(2) were nice. Room smelled like mold and set my allergies off immediately. Hotel definitely needs some upgrading.. The bathroom did have mold or mildew on the walls at baseboard and the tissue fixture was rusty. If it was upgraded it would make a lot of difference
Stayed here on our way down to Panama City after reading all the great reviews. We were not impressed. We took this room because it had a hot tub in the room. First thing I had to do was clean it because it had dead bugs in it. Also, stayed here because it stated it had an outdoor pool and breakfast. Both were closed due to Covid and that was not put on the website. Other places have had breakfast, just only closed food items. Coffee in the room was the worst coffee I have ever had. I was woken up at 6:50am to the yard man cutting the grass on the property for an hour on Sunday morning. Check out girl was very rude and could not even tell her what my issues were. I do not recommend staying here.
Nice clean room. Great beds. Fluffy towels. Nice breakfast with haloll oranges. . Good coffee. Very friendly staff. Will stay there again definitely . Easy to get to also. Good recommendations for dinner.
This property is showing signs of wear and tear. Our room was not bad though - (Room #123). Everything worked correctly and was pretty clean. This is a budget property and the rates reflect it. Don't come here expecting first class and you will be satisfied. The breakfast was pretty good - the sausage patties were a little overdone but the eggs were nice and there was a good variety. The check in clerk was friendly and helpful.
I booked this based on this hotel being listed as the #1 hotel in the area . The others must be awful if this is number one . Other than the staff , nothing about this hotel is worth raving about . The room had a musty smell , the bathroom too small & its door always in the way . We were furnished with one very small bar of soap. There should have been one for the vanity area & one for the shower . Toilet paper was nearly gone upon arrival , with none extra - so had to make a trip to the front desk for more of both items . There’s no place to put luggage - no rack , no closet . The entire room was poorly planned out . Definitely not worth the $115 a night that we spent .
