We ended up spending a night in Carabelle by pure chance. Night fell down while we were driving and that was the closer stop. Well, I have been pleased by the catch. The Moorings at Carabelle is a clean, recently refurbished, airy motel. Beds are BIG, toilets are... big and every room has got a private balcony facing the marina....

Rooms overlook the Marina and are average but nice. $90.00 per night in Carrabelle is a bit much but you don't have much of a choice. Free Breakfast is pretty good (Eggs, cereal, many breads/donut, sausage, French toast, juice/coffee), office staff is friendly! Friends that were with us were able to put their 24' boat in a slip close to...

This was a very nice hotel on the water in the beautiful, small town of Carrabelle, FL. We stayed for two nights on the weekend. Rooms were spacious, newly remodeled, open, with a balcony overlooking the marina and bay. We recommend it especially for a short stay for fishing, relaxation, or just a weekend getaway.

I normally love older hotels and small towns. If you have to stay in carabelle this place will do and it has a gorgeous view. But the rooms are tired and outdated. The beds were just awful. New beds and a few updates would help this place greatly. If you can't sleep well what's the point? Also the person who...

We visited The Moorings for a little family get together and fishing trip July 4th. We stayed in one of the condos and found it to be very pleasant. The rooms were a little dated but had all the appliances you needed and they also had a great view. There is a pool for the kids or whoever wants to...

Enjoyed our 3 night stay! Easy access to our boat & great fishing! We stayed on 1st floor. I recommend 2nd floor for better view. Room was clean & affordable. Friendly staff. Take insect repellent with Deet for no see ums. Those insect bites are dreadful!

We stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night. The room was very clean and large, and the bathroom was also very large! There was a shared balcony overlooking the marina with a nice view. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast, while not made to order was a nice variety and filling. We will be staying here again!

Stayed at the Moorings for the first time this March, we will go back. The room was clean and very spacious. Right on the Carrabelle river, and walking distance to all bars and restaurants. The price is right too. Also you get free breakfast from 7:30-9:30. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice little place.

If you are looking for some serious quiet, small town fun this is your stop. Tons of history. Home of the world's smallest police station. Lol. The hotel was super clean. The breakfast was awesome complimentary eggs, sausage, and more. We actually chartered there 54 ft boat and went to Apalachicola and had lunch. Grocery store and restaurants with in...

We travelled here from Orlando where we are used to 24 hour 7/11's and grocery stores. You know, everything at your fingertips. I'm gonna start off by saying this is Not a Big hotel with concierge services but a small laid back fisherman town (Think more like Marathon in the Keys;) friendly laid back community with great seafood and nice...
