We had a nice stay at the Dolphin Key Resort. We have been here once before so we were aware of the layout with the Tiki Hut. This is an older hotel but is well kept and the rooms are clean. Not a loarge pool but, again, well kept and large enough for us to sit by and enjoy the sun. The Tiki Hut is a nice place to grab a drink or meal. The stay included breakfast at the Tiki hut which was scrambled eggs, a hash brown pattie, sausage and a drink. Not a lot but it was sufficient and fresh. The Tiki hut has a variety of entertaniment which is a nice touch as well. Our room was onm the second floor and faced the pool but we were never bothered by any noise from the Hut or the pool. The staff was always helpful from the cleaning ladies to the front desk. The hotel is located close to alot of bars and restuarants as well. All in all a nice stay and we will stay here again when in the area.

Quaint and convenient. Has everything one can need except a good night's sleep. I may be exaggerating but I the the mattress is as old as the hotel. Felt like I went a couple rounds with a kidney punching boxer. Maybe some day the owners will pitch in for new ones. Oh, and maybe they can splurge on those little 1/2 and 1/2 containers instead of just offering powdered carnation.

We were pleasantly surprised How nice and friendly this resort Was. The rooms are large and clean, with 2 chairs and a small table, desk and comfortable bed. The staff go out of their way to help out. There is a restaurant on site with a large pub style menu. Walking distance to other restaurants as well. The pool and courtyard are Well kept. There is a band playing on weekends and this attracted quite a crowd! The only thing I would say Could be of use would be a room safe, which we would have liked. Great stay for a few days, if you need a place to relax for a while or on your way to somewhere else!

Our stay at the Dolphin Key was ok. We were expecting a bit more updated room. The pool was nice and the Tiki Bar was hopping. I will say the staff was very nice and accommodating. We were disappointed in the free breakfast. You have no choice. It’s eggs, sausage and potato. I didn’t want that and ordered toast for $3.20. The coffee had only powder creamer. It was quite busy. A side note, disappointed in the town of Cape Coral. Hoping for cute shops and there were only restaurants.

Beautiful atmosphere and great location! We met some wonderful people at the pool and had a great time at the Tikibar! There are beautiful beaches nearby (short car ride) and amazing sunsets. The staff was very accommodating too. We would definitely stay here again.
