We love to go to The Nauti Mermaid or Marker 92. Amelia is an excellent waitress! AAA+++ We love the location on the water. The sunset is great here. The food is very good. jgfdmhgjngjfnfngfnmnggnjkjgnggnjn
I booked this hotel through my credit card miles app and paid over $500 a night. I contacted the hotel twice about the spa and a room request and both times I was told that if I had booked through them directly I would have my request granted but third party bookings are not eligible for anything. I spoke with a Diana H. first that was so condescending I wanted to cancel my booking but it had just turned nonrefundable. Today I chatted with a rep who did not provide his or her name and was so incredibly rude it took my breath away. This person also told me not to bother booking the spa as it was run by a third party not the hotel. I think I will stick to the hilton from now on.
Mediocre at best. Staff is very nice though but constant issues. Room was probably one of the worst on property despite being not oversold. Room shower curtain and bathroom stunk terribly. In room service menu is incorrect have to call for a menu to be emailed to you & restaurants have incorrect menus. Hot tub is closed due to tape around it says “health department”
Excellent property - overall very clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms with excellent views of the harbor. Not a lot directly near the property / not much to do in terms of location otherwise would give 5 stars. Smaller pools / no pool service. Dolphin tour was highlight of stay. Fun to watch the boats come in and out of the Marina.
Excellent property with top notch service and good recognition of my elite status. Lots of room types to choose from including spacious suites with excellent waterfront views. Breakfast buffet was delicious and happy hour at Nauti Mermaid bar was also great. The staff at both restaurants were very friendly and their great service was highlight of my stay. Nice to also have a access to a handful of shops and additional restaurants at the on-site marina. One thing to note is that this property lacks a quick service (walk-up style) coffee shop dining option and you have to drive offsite for this or go to the restaurant with limited coffee choices. It would be great if a coffee shop were to open in the Marina shops or hotel. Also water taxi to beach was unavailable due to hurricane damage so no access to the beach during our stay, I hope this service is able to return soon! Overall a very nice property with good service, missing a couple amenities during our visit due to the hurricane but once water taxi is restored I will happily return! Westin properties are always lovely, but this one stands out as one of my favorites!…
I am very disappointed with my stay at Westin Cape Coral. Before my stay I called the hotel to confirm that there are charging stations for my Tesla - electric vehicle -EV. The front desk told me not to worry there are "several" charging stations at the parking garage, When I asked what does several mean they told me that there is adequate number of plugs for EVs and not to worry about charging my car. It turned out to be a single charging station which is operated by Chargepoint with two plugs with a shared capacity of 7.2 kW (240V-30A) and they charge $2.50 per hour regardless of the amount of the power used. This is completely inadequate for a hotel, which calls itself a resort, of this size. If you are not familiar with EV charging or what shared power means if you have single power supply for two plugs and if both plugs are in use the power for each plug drops by half down to 3.6kW per hour. That means to charge most EVs to 50% will take more than 9 hours. Only if I could have found a spot to charge my EV. Both charging spots were busy all the time we were at the hotel. Westin with 308 rooms should expect to have more than two guests with EVs when about 10% of the vehicle sales in US are EVs. Just a cursory look at the parking lot I was able to count more than 15 EVs. Marriott charges a resort fee of $35 which gets you nothing if you arrive at the resort with an EV. If the front desk had given me the right information I would have charged my car at public charging place before arriving at the hotel. When I brought up this issue with the front desk asked if there is another wall plug that could use with my portable charger they were not helpful and basically said it is what it is. I wish I could give no stars but lowest for a review is 1 star!…
What a find on the West Coast! We just spent an amazing weekend at Westin in Cape Coral. The hotel was beautiful and everything was an easy access distance. We loved the outdoor bar with happy hour at the Nauti Mermaid and enjoyed Pinchers which was within walking distance. The resort fee even included a two hour dolphin tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed and saw lots of dolphin. Can’t wait to go back and stay at this resort again!
Have stayed at this place numerous times over the past year. Usually among my favorite Marriotts in the area. My stay on January 7 is exact opposite. The room was missing a few items in kitchen and had to call down for them. Biggest issue is they new hosts wedding. The venue faces to the doors to the hotel and for hours you can hear ever word the dj says, every drunken scream by wedding guests and loud music. Horrible location for this event as it faces every hotel door. People on my floor kept walking outside and complaining and front desk assured us the wedding would end at 9pm. As of 10pm they still just as loud as ever. This stay definitely a waste of Titanium points. Should have stayed elsewhere since this is not relaxing. Will give the property another chance on weekdays but definitely not on weekends anymore.…
The hotel seemed great upon arrival for our 7 day stay. The housekeeping staff was subpar, never replacing towels with the exception of one day always dining the door bell looking for lost cleaning equipment which interrupted my babies nap on more than one occasion. The kitchen was not even stocked with enough equipment to make a meal if needed/wanted. The fire alarm went off and caused the hotel to evacuate, luckily it was a false alarm. The hotel carpets and floors were disgusting with stains and food left under the couch from previous guests. The hotel advertises 3 pools but two of them are in residential or condo areas. To top off the end of this stay we had no hot water for 2 days and the air conditioning was spotty in the 80 degree January. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.…
We spent one night here on 12/15/2022 and it was a lovely stay. The hurricane clearly did some enormous damage to the area including to the harbor and the out building around their second pool area, which seemed to be missing their tile roofs. The boats in the harbor are gone, some grounded and the dock looks to be partially gone. That said, the hotel seemed to be undamaged, we had a lovely view of what was left of the harbor and looking out beyond that. We went to their other pool area which was lovely and almost entirely ours alone to enjoy and for that reason this may be the best time to visit this hotel as any other time it will likely be crowded. I would highly recommend staying here, I’m sure we will be visiting again in the future.
