First room assigned was in a very desolate area on third floor. We we finally arrived at the room, the room key did not work. Nightmare rolling our luggage back and forth over the cobblestone. Room was very underwhelming and outdated.
Never saw the maid do our room , plus old snack bags were found between the bed and night table. Mold in shower. Loud A/C fan but room temp was 76-78 all the time, felt very hot. Pool was loud and not a nice place for families with kids (felt like in a “going wild” show).
Brooke gave us the worst checkout and checkin experience we’ve ever received at an hotel. Paid for services we didn’t need and still yelled at infront of other guest. Missed our charter to cruise and the airport shuttle was late.
Staff was outstanding. They also provide parking if you plan on taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral. The swimming pool is very nice. I only stayed the night. But If I take another cruise from Port Canaveral I will definitely stay here.
My family and I stayed here prior to our cruise out of Port Canaveral, and it was wonderful! We checked in the day before our cruise and had plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful pool, as well as the hot tub. Although this is an older hotel, the rooms were clean and well-accommodated. Plus, the staff was so friendly and helpful (with a special thank you Brooke a/k/a “Sparkles”). If you are looking for a great place to stay before your next cruise out of Port Canaveral, this is it!
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off staying at the marriott a block away. The room was filthy & definitely dated! The pool was small, dirty & crowded. It was like a hot mess spring break disaster! Never again!!
The pictures on the website are misleading. The rooms are old, outdated and dirty. The pool area was also dirty. There was lots of trash on the ground. The carpet in the room was just gross. The aroma of marijuana was sickening. On a good note: The shuttle service from the hotel to the port and from the port back to the hotel was fine. The folks involved with that were organized and pleasant. The vehicles appeared to be clean and well maintained. Next time I cruise, I would rather stay further from the port, drive in and pay port parking than to stay at the Radisson unless they have a big make-over. We did not try the on-site restaurant because we were told by other guests at the pool that it was expensive and not worth the cost.
Overall the experience is fine. The room was clean and amenities were fine. There are lots of other restaurants in the surrounding areas. Checking was fine but check out was not as it lacked better public relations by the reception staff. It gave us the the image that we were burden not sure why!!. House keeping never cleaned the room after 1st night.
We were unsatisfied with our stay here. Photos make this place look amazing but that was not the case. Review all of the offers and what is included and what is not. Not a great location unless you are only in town waiting on your cruise to leave. Not great for a romantic get away. Overpriced!
This hotel is not only OLD and OUTDATED it is DIRTY ... if you like your feet STICKING TO THE CARPETS this plave is for you ... our coffee maker had coffee pods STILL in the coffee maker that were so old they were hard, not to mention that the tray the coffee maker was on still had a dirty cup and was FILTHY ... the grounds look like the last time they were cleaned, groomed and landscaped was when the place was built ... there are not sufficient loungs poolside for you use UNLESS you get down there at 6am to secure your place ... like I said ... STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
