This park is huge, with one thousand sites, most of which are permanent residences. There are many activities, three swimming pools, pickle ball, aerobics, card games, community activities, etc., but the one thing lacking is sufficient WI-fi, which is only available in three buildings and not on sites. It feels very safe and comfortable there and we met the nicest people. We would definitely stay again.
The maintenance supervisor Tim Rhodes is great. He took care of our problems and did it without hardly any wait time at all. He was friendly, curtious and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the things we needed help with.
Great place to stay and enjoy the Florida warmth. Great people working there to make your stay very comfortable and easy! Bent over backwards to make us feel at home. this is our second year with red oaks and if god willing w will be back next year. cottages are so homey and have everything needed to make our stay easy.
Spent two months here. Staff was wonderful all through this pandemic and unseasonably hot weather. Power at our site was insufficient to keep even one of our two air conditioners running, and they were right on it. Put in new 50 amp service, with a smile
Office staff are very helpful and accommodating. Easy to find our site. Lots of seasonal residences and everyone is very welcoming. Lots of activities. There are three pools that are spotless and very well maintained. The parks are large and very accommodating for our four legged family members. Lots of trees and flowers throughout the park. Sites are a very nice size for our extended visit. The park is maintained very well and you always see park employees out working. We would definitely stay again.
Very helpful and accommodating. Went the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Tim went out of his way to make our site work for us. Lisa and rest of staff very friendly and patient. Looking forward to coming back again.
Laundry does not have carts. Very hard to get wash from washer to dryer and dryer to fold. No lights to come in off main hwy to office. Very dark and hard to walk as no side walks. Plus side: Lots of activities to keep you busy.
Office staff are great. Easy to find our site. Lots of seasonal residences and everyone is very welcoming. Lots of activities, with 3 pools, very clean fitness room and washrooms. I especially love the library.
Red Oaks is a wonderful place to live. We live here 6 months out of the year. We are all like a big family. there are all kinds of activities and dinners to attend. Pot luck dinners also, all different games etc. Parades for all holidays. Exercise such as aerobics, yoga and water aerobics at two of our three pools. There is a pool hall for any interested parties. There are also dog parks for our animals to run and play. The people are very friendly throughout the entire park.My husband and I with our two Boston terriers are very happy here and highly recommend Red Oaks RV Resort to either visit on your travel or looking for a vacation spot or looking for a winter home or you may want to make this your permanent home, I am sure you will enjoy your stay!!!
We rented several cottages for a family reunion weekend. It was great because we all had our own space but could congregate at one of the pools or one of the community spaces including the halls or the billiards room. The rental cottages are extremely clean and well-appointed. Some of them appeared brand new. The Walmart is down the street and you may need to get some better pillows. We did but not everyone had that issue. Becca in the office helped to make sure we were all close to each other and was on point with getting the reservations booked. We would definitely stay here again. The do need to get WiFi in the cottages though.
