Third time eating here. To say it is great is an understatement. Chicken strips, prime rib, bread, stuffed mushrooms. All I can say is wow. A must try. Everything we have had here is wonderful. Sits on a canal so see fish, gators, birds. Nice outdoor patio

Not a fancy place at all, and we eat outside in the back on Saturdays and/or Sundays with the live music. Just a relaxing atmosphere. The wait servers are always nice. The Bloody Marys and food are really good.

We were just driving around and got hungry and decided to go on an adventure! Well, we saw the Bayport Inn Restaurant and decided "What the heck, let's try!" Great decision! Not fancy at all, reminded us like a resort from the 60's. Excellent 'down home' staff, service was attentive, and actually felt like we went back in time. The...

We have been dining there every Monday for their Seafood Platters; four large shrimp, three large scallops, and a fillet of flounder. Choices are fried or broiled, with sides including salad, sweet potato, French fries, regular potato, clam chowder, and more. In the warm weather there is seating outside on the deck, in the bar and/or in the dining room....

This restraunt hotel is a great little gem hidden in hernando county. The staff is very friendly and effiecient. The food is second to none be it from ribeye to seafood. Everything is always fresh and homeade. Highly recommend

This is a great place to eat, food an atmosphere is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place. We had the best seafood here and our bill was actually less than red lobster. Sorry red lobster but you really need to get it fixed. I am from Ohio and love seafood, will defiantly eat here when in the area.

Stopped after the mermaid show for some seafood, reviews made it seem like the best thing since sliced bread! Couldn't be farther from the truth!! The place was at least 90 degrees! Food was generic and the server had no clue about the menu! It might be good for the locals, I feel sorry for you!! Don't go!!!

Don't know about the inn, but we ate at the restaurant. Kinda Cool!! We were there after dark, and sat outside near the Gulf inlet under the tent....neat. Torches helped keep the bugs away. Large crowd - lots of noise and fun.....but the best part was the food. Fish & chips - all you can eat for $ 9.95! Prepared...

My wife and I were exploring the Gulf Coast and ran across this local motel, diner, restaurant, and lounge. We shared a broiled platter consisting of fish, scallops, and shrimp. All were perfectly prepared and very fresh. I cannot comment on the motel, since we only stopped for a meal. The biggest drawback for me is its location. I had...

We didn't stay at the hotel but the iconic atmosphere & food were wonderful. My wife even asked for their salad dressing recipe. (they make their own everyday) I had the shrimp, scallops & cod dinner & it was more than I could eat. The small beer mugs@ 8-10oz for $2.50 have a real nice, "back in time feeling". We...
