Went for dinner and some drinks in the evening. Friendly staff and a pleasant, traditional pub atmosphere. Food was straightforward and good, and there were excellent local beers that I haven't seen elsewhere.

After going here for the last few years it has started going downhill. Food used to be excellent and we often sung the praises of The Copy Nook. We have been 4 times over the last 12 mths and each time have been let down but the last time was very disappointing. Service was ok but food poor - not...

I went with my parents for an easy meal, it was very quiet on arrival around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. The decor is quite dated but they did have a lovely log burning fire going which helped improve the atmostsphere. The food was good but nothing special and fairly basic, nothing fancy. But the service was fantastic, quick and...

Brie wedges to start were ok, then I had fish cakes which were rather soggy. Mixed reviews from my husband and son who had duck and cherry pie and gammon. Pudding was fudge cake...

My boyfriend and I visited the Copy Nook on Sunday 14th February 2016. We ordered 2 cokes which were flat. I ordered the duck and cherry pie at £11.95. The filling was tasty, however, the pastry was very soggy. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak at £19.95 and he was very disappointed - the steak was very gristly. The two...

Arrived after a long drive and received a very pleasant welcome from the owner. The room was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. We had an exceptional breakfast the following morning, that we were very satisfied with and prepared us well for our day out. When we returned we had an evening meal, which was also very satisfying and...

We traveled over 20 miles to visit this restaurant which we have visited many times in the past and have always enjoyed it but today was different. After a break of several months we were really looking forward to our Sunday lunch but we were very disappointed. The low number of cars in the car park should have warned us,...
